The rules are simple enough. Pretend you're a nub who treats 1.3 like it was vanilla -- have a distinct build in mind, and then never change from said build until the game is over.
Given how unlocking everything before Sweegy would involve a week's worth of game time through eye-gougingly boring Potionfests on disposable generics, I cheated on the file to unlock everything off the bat. Consequently, a lot of the early battles will be boring because I'm OP as hell.
My team:
Ramza -- Tanky. Hoping the new CT Save gets some mileage. Waffled on his support on two swords versus MAU versus something defensive. Opted for defense, I think I have sufficient nuking power and this'll help with the duels.
Carlson -- Assassin. Ninja with attack up, pewpew.
Elza -- Chemist/Dancer. Support unit with zero nuking power, but able to bring PA/MA debuffs for boss battles and AoE damage/disables. Almost wishing she had battle skill secondary (since Last Dance just died) for better upfront/boss debuffs and equipment shattering. Meh. I'll be fine. Ranged Hamedo for archers/balk, and Secret Hunt to enable poaching goodies as I lack steal
Casia -- Sage/White Mage. Debuffs and cures and damage and buffs.
Alyssa - Summoner/Time Mage. Debuffs and cures and damage and buffs.
First video: (aka, lawl, sound is fubar for the 1st 20 seconds, and I left on the emulator window)

Especially since his was one of the biggest voices for a 1 AE nuke and moar fire.
But looking through it, where would you put it? You can still kick out some serious damage with a summoner but you have healing and more utility.
Edit: Actually, looking through it, I'm not sure I'd make a single change. If ever there WAS a single build, this is pretty much it. You could do a couple things differently here and there, but overall, shit looks pretty solid.

You're right, it dosen't fit really with the limited space he's working with unless he did some finageling like swapping the sage to have BM, and making the chemist a samurai with white magic + short charge, then taking off draw out from ramza and adding battle skill (or vice versa making ramza a knight with guts). You lose a rezzer (4 is usually enough tho) but get a beefier ramza + an extra nuker with dispels/status. Ct save is awesome so far from what i've used.
EDIT: The knight ramza would fit your theme later with light robes, ct save, defense up, and move hp-up. For a lolcome@mebro ramza.

Move white magic off the sage and the sage can't heal or revive at all. No need to make Ramza a knight because at least by the time it matters (chapter 4) his own squire class is practically an onion knight with basic skill. Ramza's basic skill especially has more utility while being able to equip (at least) most of the same things and then some. Plus as we all know, ramza makes an awesome geomancer because he's bisexual.

Defense Up and CT Save does not work very well together thou IMO. But I can be wrong. I'll be watching this.
Hope phil does not cheat and change some of the R/S/M for some battle

I don't know why I was thinking geomancy instead of draw out. I guess that's sort of the one place where you could go either way (like Ramza, amirite). But:
I'm not sure what the values are in the PSX version anymore, but Ramza has his own squire. On WOTL anyway, by chapter 4, his squire (or Heretic over there) his modifiers and growths are mime-level, maybe a tick more and quite balanced for MA and PA. And he can equip nearly anything, so your wardrobe options as a squire are the best in the game outside of the onion knight. Basic skill for Ramza also gives you access to Ultima and Heretic strike. That was really the easiest decision in the set.
Defense up and CT scan should be perfect for each other. Gotta get hit (and survive it) to get the speed boost. The only downside I can see to it is that Rama probably won't get hit as often as he would like because the AI will go for the target they can do more damage to. I don't see it being a huge problem in the end, though.
And trust me, Phil doesn't need to cheat.

Why? Because you're less likely to be targeted?
Even if you have decent HP and Defense UP, that doesn't mean you'll never take hits. The AI will still attack you eventually, it won't always have the option to go for more squishy / less tanky characters. Defense UP means you get to tank more and save more CT = free turns.
Also, Vormav is going to have a field day with that Ramza on the 1 vs 1. Should be a good LP!

I almost gave him barrier reaction. Too late now.

No place in Team Swiss Army, sadly. It's nothing but straight damage, and its damage potential is comparable to anything else I have.

15ish. It's he's a reaction image BANK my friend.

It fits you so well, too. Not saying you're a Nazi, because it's arguable that Landa wasn't really a Nazi, either. He was an opportunist. In any situation, he knew how to get the absolute most out of it for him, which is why he turned (and attempted to turn himself into a hero for the opposition) when he realized the Germans were going to lose the war.
Kind of like how when I sit here for days trying to figure out how to get past a battle, and I find a video of yours where instead of painstakingly spending all day trying to finesse your way through, I see a 45 second playthrough of you dropping a goddamn meteor on the enemy's army's head.

Ramza can survive Vs. Vormav with Guts.
Gun + Hamedo for Balk 2.
Planar Magic for Altima.
The fight that will give you trouble I think is Murond Temple. Vormav, Rofel, Kletain.
Looking forward to watching this run!!!!!!
