However, i've run into a pretty big problem with versiom 1.0.1.l: the game crashes. The first time it happened was during the intro to the game when Garet is first recruited but that was easily solved.
Fast forward to mercury lighthouse, specifically against the mercury djinn behind the waterfall, can fight and beat it just fine, but afterwards, whenever it tries to join me the game crashes. Any ideas? Already tried re-patching the ROM with the patch so the only thing i can do is download the patch again and see if that makes a difference.
Once again, thanks guys. Looking forward to Rising Star.
p.s am playing it on gpsp for my psp if that could be an issue, although 1.0.1.e worked just fine hence why I think it could be a patch issue.

From what I understand it is an issue with the PSP emu. Another user Stann was playing older versions on the PSP and some patches would work and some don't. I haven't had time to test it on the PSP due to working on RS and various other things like practicing MMZ4 Speed Runs. I am glad you are enjoying the patch though. Try playing it on VBA on the PC and see if it works at all. if it crashes i'll look into it but i have also know some people who have started new games with this patch.
I would love to hear more from you about this mod so feel free to make a topic and i'll be sure to read what ever you post. It helps me to know what the players like and don't like.
I also am looking for suggestions on what you would like to see in RS as well.

I highly advise against using any emulators for PSP to play patched ROMs. They use a lot of shortcuts and speed hacks in order to improve performance, which are not compatible with user generated content. I had the exact problem that you're having, and the problem is with gpsp.

Glittering Tiara: Only Mia can equip this which is fine. The problem is the description states she should get to use Torrent. I can't find it anywhere in her skill list in battle when it's equipped.
Also, I'm not sure if it's supposed to give a MASSIVE boost to Luck, but it makes her Luck go from 33 without it on to 85. 52 points of Luck? Seems unintended unless character Luck stats aren't the same as an enemy's Luck stat. That is to say, 40 luck = immunity for bosses or damn near close to it. If this part is intended, fine. Just want to be sure about this part. The Torrent part though is bugged I would think (Unless I need her to be in a different class besides her Mercury based ones).
Next!
Adept's Helm: Wondering what it means by "Empowers Adepts". Higher crit chances? Higher unleash chances? Something else? Just curious about this is all.
Guardian Armlet: The Magic Shield skill it grants states it boosts the party's resistance. Fair enough. It also refills PP though which isn't in the description. I would chalk this one up to simply being a case of description length for something being limited and thusly not everything a particular item/spell/weapon is listed. Just me being curious once again.
That's all that I can think of right now. If it hasn't become apparent yet, I'm enjoying this hack immensely. I'm sure the pain will multiply tenfold when I get into the Crossbone Isle fights.

It's possible for a comet to get onto a collision course with Earth and obliterate us all, but that doesn't make it likely.
