That's awesome about the date scene. It was quite a pain in the neck in vanilla haha.
I take it nobody actually knows how to adjust the animations then. Poor ol' ZERO...

And I get the feeling they do know how to adjust them, they just don't want to be roped into doing the hard work for it

I've just got 2D modding experience, though. I wonder if the summons have animation files or what not?

They do; they're stored in the magic.lgp. Each summon has a skeleton + animation frames; but the whole thing is put together by the .exe, for transitioning between the 'phases' of the summon (for instance, Bahamut Zero has several). I think the principle behind shorter summon animations was to have the game just load the last phase and skip the rest.

Oh, Chole says "Wasn't it really expensive?" Well no, not really
EDIT: Well met, Zolom...
The item shop in Junon Town says "If you see a weapon you like..."
The hotel in Junon City has a regular save point.

Well, maybe they don't have a lot of money on the ranch
The item store in Junon still says weapons? D: Well, to be fair he didn't actually sell weapons in the original game either. Except for Grenades. I was supposed to change that dialogue when someone pointed it out, but I must have forgotten.

Use all the sources in your inventory on the character currently in the party. Also, where did you access the Emporium from? Was it during the Nibelheim Flashback or from a save point?

Yeah, basically what happens is that it unequips Sephiroth and Young Cloud's Materia/Accessory in addition to the other characters. I'm not sure what happened, but I think it doesn't do this until after the Nibelheim Flashback. Annoyingly, these characters have separate entries in the editor from Cait Sith and Vincent but it seems that the game still treats them as the same character (until they're recruited) anyway.
It's for this reason (and because you can lose Materia if you don't have enough storage space left, big problem toward end-game) that the Unequip option won't be present in 1.35.

About to head through Cave of the Gi. The fight with the Turks at Gongaga was interesting... went in with one character intending to revive in battle, and got an instant game over lol.

You went into a boss fight with a KO'd character? C'mon now.

However, the jebovah refight has a couple of interesting bugs that can both soft and hardlock the game. Sadly I have to spoil a bit of the boss in order to report the bug.
if you cast reflect on your party and jenovah casts bad breath 1.0.5 it causes jenovah and your party to float in the air. sometimes this causes the following attacks to have little to no animation and sometimes it doesn't. if a party member becomes petrified while in this "flying" state the game soft locks.
If the fight continues on too long while in this state the game will outright crash. luckily I used dirty bombs on a subsequent run thru and did just fine.
and finally the chest drop after the fight says its a poison ring, but it shows up in the inventory as a relic ring. Hope this helps
edit*
I also forgot that occasionally when entering towns the color scheme changes from "dusk" to normal whenever you sleep at an inn (not sure if this is a bug or something you added in)

Two of 'em. I was thinking Mideel lol.
The Morph rewards have been really fun to try for. I still want my money back for that Cactuar Gun though... blasted thing did 950 on a Bomb which proceeded to nuke my face. I'll have to come back later to see what the Morph reward is.

I clean forgot about that easter egg; the Jenova Decay fight in v1.0.5 of the NT mod was set up as an 'unwinnable' encounter originally, not sure why I decided to do that but for 1.1 I reworked it. But I decided to put the old build of Jenova in as an optional boss, and clean forgot all about it. HOWEVER, this fight is triggered from Disc 3, not Disc 2.
And the part of your comment that's worrying me here is 'and finally the chest drop after the fight says it's a Poison Ring'. This implies two things; 1) That you fought Jenova Decay 1.0.5 (this might be why you called it a refight) instead of Jenova War in the Whirlwind Maze (1.0.5 occupies Jenova Death's old battle slot in the scene.bin; if the game's flevel is the default one, then it'll load this battle instead of the correct one), and 2) that the flevel text is the same as default. I think you've been playing with a default Flevel this entire time; are you playing the mod through 7H or did you apply any other mods on top of it?
For reference, this is the fight you were supposed to get there: https://youtu.be/AdovodN2epY?t=16m19s

I did initially try and use the patcher to "repatch" the wrong files but it said that there was nothing to replace.
edit*
watched the video, and the color of the jenovah was the same from the ancient city fight. the fight starts. jenovah uses ishtars curse says "sup" using slow triggers an auto dispel and "nope"
defeating jenovah "because you are a puppet", "and a bad speller" "Ill be here all night."

You've got a default flevel somehow. I'll check the patcher.
Edit: Patcher and Main Installer seem to have the correct flevel in them. I'll check the Download Link.
Edit2: That seems fine as well. Did you swap to a default flevel at any point? In any case, try re-installing the flevel patch to get an NT flevel. I've got a night shift in 15 minutes so I won't be able to respond until next morning, but let me know if it still won't work.
