You probably skipped one on accident. You should just get the Signal Ring from the Anti-Guy in Kero Sewers and check everywhere. Don't forget the Moleville houses!

Valentina was definitely immortal in the initial release... was a version with that fixed never released?

no clue, and besides the nimbus ring pales in comparison to many accessories in the game (i.e. the safety ring)

What does Celebi do in version 8? Do any other catchable pokemon have an inventory use?
