Are the stolen-item tables much different from the original?

If anyone can answer this, I'll be god damn shocked. I haven't seen Galen in a long time, and this mod is not too popular.
I'd guess that if there was a broken steal, it's gone. Otherwise, it's likely pretty close.

Seeing this makes me want to go through this mod just to answer the OP. I vaguely have the steal items in the back of my mind for the original, so going through the mod I'll notice a difference. Though like Kjata said, it's probably very close to vanilla. But say you steal a weapon from a boss, the weapon will be updated and won't be for vanilla.

In general, I've heard that this mod is easier than some other ones in here, but still harder than vanilla. So (again, in general), I'd suggest playing smart, but not overthinking about steals / min-maxs and them shenanigans.
Tbh, I'd love to have both this mod, and a "punishing as fuck" kind of FFVII mod here. I've heard people mentioning 1.3 and content as that, which is nice.

I am using an emulator for save states (RNG allows for a steal even if it otherwise wouldn't have the first time it makes u load) but most of the time, monsters give me potions or ethers...just wanted to know if there were rarer items with higher rates in this mod
