I started my first modding project almost 3 years ago (wow, is it that much already), and while my experience has grown quite a bit, my funds haven't so much. I live in Argentina, as I've said many times, and that means that getting technology is not easy. Salaries are not high (1 USD = roughly to 16 argentinian pesos, to give you a clue), and importation taxes means that technology costs up to double price here.

I'm currently doing all of the modding in my old laptop, which takes an hour (an actual hour) to start working decently. And that's only when the editor, emulator and debugger decide not to crash, because of the low specs I'm running with.

So, I opened this small donation button. Every single penny I receive with it will be saved in a little bag under my pillow, with the hopes of buying an actual PC, to mod better, stronger, and more games, because I've decided this is something that has grown into more than a hobby - I simply love being part of this community.

Any single penny will be appreciated from the deep bottom of my heart.

My PC pretty much dies when I open the emu, but I'll make my best to make some special vids, because you're right, YouTube deserves some love!

That's me, I don't post very often but I tend to lurk a lot. I've enjoyed your Megaman X mod and your youtube videos for FFT 1.3 helped me out when I was getting started on that so I figured it be nice to help out some. Merry Christmas man and best of luck with everything.

I am Jeremy, finally decided to get an account here instead of lurking (for about maybe 2 months). Love your mod, even if it kicks my ass like I owe it money (mainly the bosses, how did Storm Eagle turn from chump to ruin of my sanity with just some small changes).

So, I was making the very last bits of the new version, and my PC died. Hard drive problem. I turned it on again, and after repeating about a problem in the disk, it's now turning on normally. I'll have to make a back up ASAP of everything and finish the version in my dad's laptop.

In the mean time, before buying the PC (I still don't have enough funds) I'll be able to buy a hard drive to replace this one! So thank you so much! And I'll appreciate any extra help you can provide so I can buy the rest of the PC as soon as possible! (Who knows how long this laptop will work, even with a new hard drive u.u)

Yes, I was able to turn the pc once and back everything up. I checked it later in another laptop and all was saved, no corrupt files apparently. Still, the laptop is clearly not safe to use anymore, that one was a lucky shot.

Jesus. Thank you so much, that's incredible! Well, I'm basically not setting up a goal. That's because my goal is not money, but having the actual PC. And I'm not necessarilly waiting for anyone to pay it all for me. I should probably make a checklist of things as I get them. The PC I'm looking at would cost about $500 (or even $600, it's hard to estimate) mainly because of import taxes and all - Again, I'll put my fair amount of savings, mostly to compensate for that.

Right now I've bought the SSD for the new PC, which will be replace the broken HDD of my laptop until I get the rest of the PC, so I can keep modding.

So! The donations you provided gave me that extra push I needed to save up and buy the basics of the new PC, which I have been running for a week now! (And which is how I modded the last version of hard type. Thank you all for your help! Just to give you an idea, the cost of it in US dollars was somewhere around US$900, because of import taxes, and I don't even have the monitors and video card, and I haven't changed to a better ISP yet. Those three will be used to make modding streams a thing, which is something I think everyone will love, including me. Designing the game, doing some ASM hacking, and you guys being able to see it all.

Anyway. I just want to thank you all. Even before this, you have been extremely supportive with me, and it has meant a lot to me during the past few years.
