If you're choosing which episode to watch, this one has a little more to it than BNW. More information is given by my commentary here, too. This segment was a bit of a wake-up call (though a completely expected one, the next one should be Zozo).

Segment 9 - How to Fight a Boss

Now with 10% less sarcasm in the title!
Vargas is at 9:05.

The Vargas fight is definitely worth watching. When I did my first LLG, I felt like I needed to be completely prepared and everything had to pretty much go perfectly to pull off this fight, as it was the first real boss. Now, I realize just how much little actually has to go right to beat this guy.

This segment is pretty much the exact same as BNW, but there's a trolly moment at 4:40 that's worth watching.

Edit: Crud, this is actually segment 11. I'll upload the real segment 10 afterwards, however anachronistic that may be.

Segment 13 - Let's Tease an Octopus

Between the beginning of the game and the Battle of Narshe, this the hardest segment in either playthrough. I decided to go in without practicing first, just for kicks. It worked out about as well as you'd expect. :wacko:

You can easily see an improvement between each attempt:
1: I go in with a strat that couldn't have realistically worked even with my eyes open.
2: I go in with a strat that could have worked in theory, but I mess up absolutely everything.
3: I don't make any major mistakes, but my execution isn't clean enough.
4: I'm missing a tweak to make it work. I also don't get lucky.
5: Sweet victory!

The bloopers are in chronological order.

I split up from my BNW route here, since it makes sense to do the scenarios in a different order. However, there is still the same number of segments going through the scenarios.

There's nothing too cool about this segment, except possibly five minutes in.

If you're wondering about the titular Tutorial Boss, he gets owned with Thunder Rod hax. I didn't bother doing the fight the normal way because it was a lot like BNW anyways.

In BNW, I believe that you can escape any encounter on the Lete River by killing off all the Nautiloids that you can't escape from. They are the only inescapable enemy, so once they're dead, you can run.

This is the thread for the vanilla LLG though (I'm doing two separate Blindfolded runs; an LLG run in vanilla and an otherwise unrestricted run in BNW). In vanilla you could escape all these fights though (Which admittedly makes no sense. Why can you escape on a raft, but not escape a Rhyos?), so it's made easy on me.

There's some hills, presumably, and I cross them. I also kill an army's general in single combat, which isn't nearly as exciting as it sounds.
