I'm ready for my New Game + joyride, and I am wondering... is it possible to beat the game with any combination of party members?
Crono + Marle + Frog were my dream team. I can see how some would switch out Frog for Robo (AoE healing).
Are there any fights that absolutely REQUIRE a certain team because of innate immunities? COUGHgigamutantCOUGH Or are there... untold possibilities beyond the scope of my imagination?!
Marle also seems invaluable...
Possible to beat the game w/ any party?

I think this mod has been beaten with a solo-Crono build (Frenzy Band!), so I'm sure any team of 3 is possible.

I'm pretty sure any fight can be beaten with any party. The two fights that would be the tightest squeeze on that front are Giga Mutant and Inner Lavos. But consumable Barriers, Shields, and Lapises along with the right EQ setups still make any combo of 3 viable for these fights, I believe.

Almost.
The Lavos fought in the Ocean Palace is impossible to any party that isn't Chrono, Robo, Marle because Life Line is required; his strongest hit-all attack hits for 1050 even with barrier and perfect defenses.
It totally hasn't.
I mean, soloing the final boss is only possible on NG+ because Chrono needs maxed magic and green dream for it. ~90 magic is not enough to Luminaire-blast Lavos' arms before they get their second kill shot = R.I.P.
And 5 panels was still harder, or rather insanely random.

Heh, fair enough. Although I was only thinking in terms of fights that must be won. But technically all of the Black Omen can be skipped, so Giga Mutant isn't a fight that must be won, either. But where's the fun in skipping that? <_<

Giga Mutant is love... Giga Mutant is life. 
Some of these fights are inconceivable without Haste. I jacked Frog's magic up so his heal leaves lapises in the dust, and double cure is nice...
My New Game +, I'm stepping outside the box! I don't think I'd ever have the patience for a solo Crono run, though.
