Throwing my two cents in this horrid topic, but I should start by saying that "harassment" and "sexual harassment" are not mutually inclusive. You can be harassed without it being sexual in nature.
A female being raped does not necessarily equate to standard harassment. That's like the most extreme case of harassment one could address, and even then, a lot of people aren't even sure if male/male, female/female, male/female rape isn't less one sided towards females as we believe. For starters, males are a lot less likely to report themselves being raped than a female-- and this is primarily because of social stigmas (something that needs to be fixed as well). Being raped is an atrocity in general, but society treats it worse for males. In movies for instance, rape jokes can STILL be made towards male/male or male/female with the female being the aggressor (yes, a children's movie Rio 2 did this at the end, and the male was essentially a handicapped male). For females? I can't think of a time rape was ever considered funny. Rape is just one of those things that's such a terrible case that it shouldn't matter what the victim is. At least with females, if rape is reported, it's immediately taken seriously by the law, sure, there might be people that jeer about it (such as the rather psychotic "she asked for it" people).
Online I'd say male and female harassment is about the same : on the account that no one actually knows what your race, sex, gender combo is unless you not only state you are, but demonstrate pictures as well as make it a point to reveal this. Before that point I'd wager that average person Online envisions a person to look like whatever they want before then (US it's probably imagining them to be a brown haired, white male). In this regard, it's about the same. And I'd wager the harassment that comes from people after that point extends from the anonymity of Online more than it does your physiological aspects.
Considering that harassment is something that no one should have to deal with, I don't think we should even care which sex has it worse and instead focus on simply nipping it in the bud. Case by case if need be.

I have a different perspective. I'm a fan of Kaceytron and I don't seriously play any of the games she plays. There is plenty of room for everyone. If she is having fun and people are enjoying her content then that is ok. I know it must hurt to see a girl with less skill getting all the attention because of her breasts, fit body, beautiful face/smile and charming personality, but get over it.
Clearly you have missed the entire point of this thread, then. If you miss the entire point of a discussion thread like this, perhaps you should refrain from posting until you actually get the point.
Snug, there are too many knee-jerk reactions within your post that speak to jealousy and hatred for me to go through them all piece by piece and tell you why they're being shut down so hard. If you can read what you said and honestly think it is the truth, you are most definitely the other end of the problem. Whereas DKMN is one of the masses effectively (or literally, I really don't know) jerking off to Kaceytron, you're the opposite side -- one of the vapid individuals who (seem to, at least) hate and despise women in gaming and think it's foolish to try and change anything.
Change is bad and scary!
