1) I don't see the point of requiring modders to get approval before uploading their files, considering that each modder is assigned permissions only to their own projects. I think we talked about this before and you agreed but it was in conversation and got backburnered and forgotten.
2) can we either remove the .zip restriction on the file uploaded, or at least add .ppf and .ips and whatever else is popular? I can't imagine it's an issue of bandwidth, so I have to assume it's security, but again each modder has exclusive rights to, and therefor accountability for, their own mod/files. It's just a few extra steps for everyone.
Neither super important, just little conveniences
Two quicky nitpicks about downloads

I've been thinking about this lately as well, given how close Dragon Trial is to a beta.
Agreed completely.

Implemented #1, go try it out
Can't do #2, each modder having exclusive rights to, and accountability for, their own mods / files doesn't eliminate the problem of security. #2 won't be changing anytime soon

Yeah that's true. I could easily upload a file with a keylogger or some other such shit that way.
Not that I would, of course.

Agreed. I personally don't feel safe downloading a file that isn't compressed ( Mainly because I actually review the files I approve)
