Hey guys, I am a long time player of SD3 but I only discovered your mod relatively recently. I am mostly figuring everything out as I go. I've gotten to Jewel Eater and died a few times so I'm looking at some of the stuff on this forum in greater detail and started paying closer attention to the equipment I'm wearing.
Now, having said all this, it seems like the difficulty of this game combined with the harsh penalty for dying demands a deep understanding of the mechanics you've went and changed, or inhuman persistence. But the lack of information (and the amount present is apparently outdated) isn't very helpful. I've seen a few YouTube videos on this mod but they don't help me either because the version is completely different; for example, in one of the playthroughs I watched, item drops worked a lot more like vanilla where they didn't always drop and usually weren't trapped, and his version of Jewel Eater seemed a lot easier than mine.
Is it possible that you guys could throw together some sort of documentation for the latest version of the mod?
Any chance of a wiki/more detailed documentation?

This would be a good time for the good old RTFM. The documentary included with the hack is very detailed, and you should definitely check it out. For some pointers:
- armor_elements_stats.xls - always keep this open while playing the game, as it's your only way to know the properties of weapons, armor and other accessories
- Classes.txt - the classes, their abilities and required stats for each ability
- monster.xls - keep this one open as well while playing the game, as it contains a list of monsters, their strengths and weaknesses, status resistances and drops
- skills_consumables.xls - for a complete list of spells and items and what they do
- README.txt - the hack's mechanics, what each stat does etc

Ahh, and here I was assuming it would be web-based... putting all that stuff in a text document and spreadsheet had to have been rather cumbersome for you guys.
