Going back to the Fort Condor thing, I won them all and got a very basic item. It starts with a P to avoid Spoiling. Is that correct?

I found recently that the Mystery Ninja flag gets reset when you enter certain places during the story; what I might need to do is add a 'catch-all' to Disc 3 where the encounter can be activated manually if it hasn't been found yet, getting around the problem for people who have already had the flag disabled during their playthrough.
As for the Fort Condor thing, yes that is the intended item. I think I've taken the joke too far :I

I downloaded 1.4 for steam yesterday, at the time I saw the note "the damn scorpion is gone for good now" or something similar. Kept playing and eventually found out what the note meant. - the scorpion is not gone from slums church. Telling her "got nothing to talk about" avoided the collision problem I had the first time through.

Red XIII's 1-2 limit Lunatic High is apparently glitched in the original to apply the 50% party evasion boost to Red 1-3 times depending on the number of allies standing instead of once to each member.
Have/Could you implement a fix for this? As I am PC version illiterate it might have only been a ps1 bug, did PC fix that already?
I want to try a Red/Yuffie Evasion set to see how it works but this could bum me out. I bought extra covers and have the bracelet already, I can get a second one right?

It's easier to do this as I go instead of at the end, this is my suggestions for now.
1. Not sure what you did to limits but Tifa had all 6 available limits by the chocobo ranch without heavy grinding, I did use her for cover+counter and morph so she got the lions share of kills but this somewhat game breaking even up to Cosmo Canyon where I am now.
Spec'd for Strength with 6 Yeahs she can easily get 3-4k when everyone else doesn't even hit 1000 with there limits. She also charges her limit fast because of taking a lot of damage from hits so I can get 2 out per boss. Vector was cake with this. It can kill both pawns and then land about 1200 on vector itself.
I'd suggest either boosting the kills she needs or slowing the fill rate on her level 3 limits.
2. You should really reconsider making A/S rank races available right away, I sunk 15k into S rank Races and came out with 2 sneak attacks (and a potion!!1!). Right now I have them both linked to Heal and most randoms consist of the enemy skipping turns until they die.
With a little AP investment Sneak Attack+Osmose+any summon is a real possibility. Whats that? No MP + Shiva(slow) at the start of the fight?
Granted I didn't need to play the races but you gave me the option...
Alternatively can the really broken stuff be removed from the prize list until disc 2/3? I think these 3 are the primary offenders.

Magic counter - specifically because you can counter with Osmose to instant shut down basically any spell caster with the balls to attack you.
Other than these few holes it seems pretty well balanced so far

I've got it this time; it'll be gone in the next patch, I swear.
Red's Evasion thing would need to be fixed through the .EXE I think. I'll look into it.
All 6 limits by the Ranch doesn't sound normal, but I think I lowered all the Limit kill requirements recently.
Most players won't bother with the automatic racing bets (they usually wait until they have their own chocobo to farm it) because of the cost, so I'm fine with it turning out something useful; if you invest the time/money into it then you deserve any good prizes you get out of it. As far as Osmose goes, I can raise the MP of some of the solo/large enemies but weaker randoms are fair game to have their MP blitzed. Sneak Attack should also be OK because it's not a 100% chance to trigger until it's been developed a little. The Cat's Bell thing is fine too; restoring HP in that way is likely slow.
It's also intended that you get a flat +5 to every stat on each rank in addition to your stat choice. It's to keep characters from being crippled by stat(s) that don't get chosen for a boost (Dexterity for instance).

The Mythril Diver in the Mythril caves spits up 2000 gil. That's just Laser + Bolt 2 and your done. I assume this is to finance Fort condor the first 3 times, but starting here I haven't had any money problems, because fort condors battles can be won for less than 5000 gil easily. Ethers are also very very common considering you never need to use them with Osmose passing and eventually multiple heal materias. This isn't a problem really, it just makes the references to being a poverty mod fall flat.
Speaking of fort condor I didn't receive the notification after getting the buggy like the others had done. The battle still happened there and I didn't miss it but maybe do a quick pass of the notification messages for fort condor.
I also decided to see what you did to the Underwater reactor alarm tunnel. It seems you tried to discourage early game exploitation, to that end you should give the Green suited Soldier Paralysis immunity. Since when your supposed to fight them it's not a huge deal but showing up right after the Gold Saucer with Rahmu lets you power level to ridiculous lengths.
I killed 1 Soldier and 1 U-head robot and come out with almost 18k exp like 264(i think) AP and a Yoshiyuki dropped. This makes that soft cap on levels irrelevant. The Sweeper wasn't killable with what I had on hand. I also got SP which I was surprised about. If that SP was meant to be acquired much later it might throw off the balance of a boss or 2 if you rank up early.
I wanted it to be fun so I didn't hang around but it's still exploitable. Though I assume the SP was a one time thing.
Also could you do me an personal favor and link the slots on Yoshiyuki, I feel like I should at least be able to slap an element on it. 2 slots is fine though.
Good to know the extra sources were intended though perhaps Mr. Smiley can mention them to avoid future confusion on the subject.
Edit: poison removes Geo stance from Aeris
Cid's recruitment has odd line breaks and 2 blank text boxes.
Also went back to check the alarm tunnel the enemies continue giving SP, Kjata is easy 9999 here so very exploitable.

I'll see what I can do with that tunnel. The M-Class enemy doesn't have any particularly special attributes, but I could make it absorb elemental spells or something so that it stands out from Soldier: 2nds and makes it less easy to farm + immunity to certain statuses (same with the others that appear here; I'll make sure a Death Machine always appears with the Gas Ducters).
Geo Stance depends on the Defend status, and the way Poison works is that each tick is treated as an action by the afflicted target which removes Defend (this is also why the 7777 Materia Keeper poison trick works the way it does). It's a drawback of sorts.
I've since fixed up Cid's recruitment dialogue but it's not in the current patches yet; I was trying to get Dark Cave finished before making new patches but I need to make some tomorrow to get this scorpion issue dealt with.

Yeah, there's been a discussion about it on Qhimm about Mideel enemies and the like. Odin seems to prevent SP from being gained, as does Remove, because they ignore the Death Counter script of the enemy. Regular instant KO effects don't, however. The SP script itself has a flaw as well; when you go past lv.44, only the first enemy will correctly assess the party's level while the other enemies won't; that means you'll always gain SP from enemy groups of 2 or more that are above Lv.44.

Since he doesn't have one I was thinking about what might work for clouds innate though, I'm not sure if you would know how to implement or not.
You could have it so that after defending his next action (can't stack) deals double damage if he hits a weakness and if he hits a Resist/Null/Absorb then it does normal unresistant damage.
I think it sort of works thematically too, Like the Jenova cells are overpowering the life streams normal properties in an enemy.
Call it Calamity Stance or something so it references Jenovas calamity from the sky bit and stands in opposition to Aeris innate in name and function like the Jenova vs Cetra theme.
Poison would cancel this too though but its a small price I think.

- Final ATM fight didn't me the Core after the fight. And when I fought it again after talking to the guy in South Corel, it still didn't give me anything. I think I get Warrior Bangles though.
- Tseng fight in Rocket Town - no Pulse ammo and if I am supposed to go back to the Rocket, I can't.
- Dark Cave - I can't find Dio. I went to where you meet him to talk about the Keystone and he isn't there. I have beaten up to the Gold Match (just under Nemesis) and I can't find him.
As a suggestion, could I offer changing Princess Guard so that Aeris still heals after she grants you Shield (since it's non-Elemental)? That weapon is useless when it can't heal after she grants Shield (ignoring the 8 slots). I end up using either the Barrier or MBarrier granting Staves since they at least function after their effect procs. Another one is just for flavor, but... I liked your SP classes when you Rank Up, mind bringing them back? They were unique compared to 1, 2, 3, 4. Last one... no way to convince you to bring back Focus for Tifa in an update? Tifa doesn't hit very hard compared to insta crits Cid and D. Blow almost always hits Yuffie. Maybe not as much of a strength increase as before, but something? Without Powersoul or Master Fist, I'm not getting much use out of her.

The key items were supposed to be placed before 1.4 was released, but because I was rushing to get it done before I went on holiday at the time it slipped my mind. There's a 'lost&found' NPC on the Highwind though that checks for these items in your inventory + the completion of the requirements for these key items though, that will add them in if it can't find them (means they can be used multiple times but it's better than not having them at all). You'll find him outside the Highwind's chocobo stable, wandering around doing squats. He used to be the music swap option guy but that job was taken over by Save Points.
I've got two patches, one for flevel and scene, to post here so make sure to apply them first. You may also get a battle when talking to the Lost 7 Found NPC; this is to activate Cloud's innate on older save files.

I'll make Princess Guard restorative only so it doesn't conflict with Shield. Could also restore the class names, I guess. Tifa's new innate is super-useful so I dunno about changing it back to Focus; it's nice to see someone favouring Cid over Tifa for a change though, mostly I hear about how OP she is :I
