Well, since the previous feedback post was kind of dead I thought in create a new one.
I have played this for hours. I really enjoy the hack. My progress is not much but I want to share a bit of my experience.
My opinion of the first mission is in another topic. Here
After that the game was challening, not that hard, but challening. The prices in the shops are pure madness. At least in the beggining, this really add some fun in battles and the monetary managmenet. There are two weapones (raipers) in the shop whose cost is 1 gil. I suppose that is an error.
I found 2 of the new jobs in this version. Avatar and Soul-seer. The first one is a strange mage that I recently have use, there are some mistakes in script but nothing vital, just some little errors in weapons abilities. I see there is still no wiki so for those wondering his requerimets they are 3 white mage and 5 black mage skills (the same has the illusionist in the original game). His skills are a mix between the ninja and the illusionist and add a fresh piece of strategy for the in-game. His growths:
Hp: 6
Mp: 2
Atk: 6
Def: 6
MagcP: 9
Res: 7
Speed: 1
This is taken from only 1 level up. The weird part in my opinion is his Mp. Is terrible, maybe is it to prevent to make it overpowered because his enormous range and his status effects.
The other still in testing. Is kinda weird. Its attacks with magic like the sage and can cause ailments, but at same tame it damage himself. His growths taken from 1 level up are:
atk: 8
Def: 6
MagicP: 7
Res: 8
Speed: 1
I think is a mix between a warrior and a mage and the replacement of the ninja. The requeriments in the selection says that is encesary the same has the illusionist, but this is a mistake because I unlock it with 2 thief skills.
Probably is a damage dealer and a ailment-inflictioner. However, there are some msitakes in the weapons as well as the previous class. Just a little fix in the next patch. Even if I have not tested yet my deducction is that this class will be a high reward high risks and something better than Double sword.
Another suggestion is the durability of the soldier/warrios skills and the like. Their Breakers are Broken! (That was a joke). It will be a good idea to make them temporary or at least removable with esuna spell.
Mostly of the ideas have been written before in this page, but the enemies should have more reacction abilities for more challenge.
Really like the usefulness of the black mage (specially nu mou), they are inmunne to the element triade, but their spells cost more and are fragile, the strategy in this is good. The alchemist and sages have the same resistance for their own skills? I still have no tested it, in such case it would be some interesing to include too, at least, some of them.
By the way, like the names of some weapons (falchion..).
I havent played with the bangaa bishop yet, and the idea of make it useful has ben written before. A very good idea, it need some buffs and maybe more spells. A combination that I used before was the bishop and the templar, kinda hard to move but if the templar has higher movility in this hack then it will be a effective combo , the other bangaas are pure physica but the monk, I only see these two has a good combo with the bishop unless it have more support skills.
Another suggestion and this is pure aesthetic and nothing really importat or vital. More music in encounter battles. There is only one music for the battles that are not mission and with so many time in this game it become really repetitive. Maybe you can add some more like the ost from Tactics Ogre or Fire Emblem.
A suggestion in general. Some little feedback and updates will be easier to find, read and gather togheter if only a few post are used or everything is reunited in a only a (or few) place(s). It take me some time to read ideas and updates in the forurm because they are really scattered. And the more this community grows it will be more difficult. Just a little suggestion, need not be applied perforce.

Glitch in the mission where I must save Ezel. When I check the status of the avatar (illusionist) the game get stuck . Also it appears that the game gets slow when is his turn.

Next version the soul-seer / avatar will be removed. It will probably be as close to vanilla as possible, job - wise.

Well while we're on the subject of feedback, have you gave Marche or that human soldier a different base job? Or are they both still soldiers?

In my playtrought I mantained marche in soldier until he learn shieldbearer. Then I change to white and black mage so he can change to avatar. I learned all the skills from the avatar avaibles at the moment and change it again to black mage because this has better Mp growth, I plan to change him into a Paladin in some time. The other solider mantained that class and learned all posible skills available and change it to fighter so he can hit hard or weaken you.

By th way, Marche need a little buff in magic in the begining, he starst as a soldier and with low magic so he really suffer in magic classes. It take a lot of tieme for the magic damage superate the physical damage and only in the mage class.
