Does anyone have a list of important missables? I am at the very end of the WoB, about to do the Floating Continent. I just wanted to make sure I got everything possible. Here's what I have done:
1) Lightsabre from the man in the house south of the Opera House after Floating Continent rises.
2) Spooky Record from the wounded soldier.
3) Skeleton boss in Psycho City by playing the Spooky Record.
4) Killed the machine in Psycho City. (overleveled and overprepared group)
5) Catastrophe from the Skeletons bone from Psycho City in Stardust Valley giving to the dog.
6) Master Tonberry in Psycho City.
7) Lete River Mog dance.
8) Pirates Cave treasures.
9) UFO.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Are there any WoR missables? Or any missable espers or others I have missed here?
Missable list?

This looks like it I'd say.
4 6 & 7 can also be gotten in the WoR if one did not get in the WoB, just for the record.

bahamut is technically missable but also simultaneously optional as is odin, i believe anima soul calibur and ark are a couple other missables but are just like odin and bahamut are 100% optional and are all obtained in WoR but are not needed unless you want all the spells or if u want to be a completionist

The hack's only Dreamstone is missable, hidden in the castle section of Cyan's nightmare. All of the treasure in the segment is missable like in vanilla though it's for the most part obtainable elsewhere with some work. Also related, the boss rush the Dreamstone accesses is a one-time deal. Fail and you're blocked off from the reward until New Game +
Some areas clear of encounters when cleared so if you want the encounters for some other purpose, do so before beating the main boss of the area. I'm specifically thinking of Owzer's basement since monsters there are the most convenient source of animal suits to steal (which trade up to some useful equipment).

Ok thanks. So Shadow cannot learn magic even though he gets magic as a menu ability and can equip espers? What about Destiny and Eternity? I just got them, and haven't had time to use them since I have been leveling everyone to 99 for funzies. But do they have hit cast spells like Apocalypses meteor, Gamma Swords Holy, and Zodiac Swords flare?
Also does anyone know where I can farm golden apples? I found magic tabs in the Odin area, and might tabs in the Dark Tyrano area. I remember getting a Soma Drop drop from somewhere but I don't remember where, as I was focused on just blasting through content to get better end game gear. And there's only 14 recruitables correct? Plus 2 doll recruits? Also was the Pimp Cane removed? I bet a Birdo egg and only get a Goddess Band. Thanks for the help.

Game planning is a little unfair in some ways IMHO. You must keep Oboro in your group 100% for stealing. I mean, to get every item possible, you have to keep Oboro in your group as much as possible with the Thief Glove. There's a TON of stuff you can miss if you don't. Sure, you can beat the game without doing this. But for completionists, you will miss a lot of very good items. The first big item would be the Bloodsucker gotten from the ninja crystal battle leaving the magitek factory on the cart. This sword is fantastic for both survivability, and progression through the colosseum in the WoB and even the WoR, dual wielding one with another good weapon, or in an evade setup.
Also anyone who wishes to get every good item possible, it would behoove you as soon as you get the airship in the WoR, to directly go straight for Oboro in the cave, and get him ASAP before anything else.

Thief Knife is a good(yeah, sure...) substitute/aider of Oboro's Steal

Thief Knife is a substitute, but it only has 52 battle power. And it would severely limit attack strength in the battles you need it the most. I think it would just be more efficient to sacrifice a relic slot, while having access to a steal command which leave you with access to your best weapons.

I switch to the ThiefKnife or Enforcer mid-battle when I intend to steal and swap back when I snag what I want. Steal command is safer since it doesn't trigger Fight counters but sometimes I want to switch out Oboro.
Shadow's magic list is based on what his allies have learned, just like Gogo in vanilla. Looks like you got all available recruits.
I recall from elsewhere on this forum that Gold Apples are a rare steal from Light Dragon. Which are a rare encounter even if you are looking in the right places and they're quite capable of murdering a careless party. So good luck.
Check the item description in-game for Destiny and Eternity; it will probably tell you if they do randomcast magic. They ended up as stat sticks for me since I almost never use the Fight command unless my team is overpowered relative to the enemies they're fighting. +20 evade is a nice feature and some users don't have another weapon option for it but I have no experience using the swords to hit things with. (for the most part, the only character whose weapon I care about for offense is Otis)

Swap hand gears in battle is something worth to being ready to use, in case of need

To be fair, even if weapon swapping didn't exist, there are hardly any battles (except at the very end of the game, when your characters reach higher levels) where you need a stronger weapon. The lack of evasive bonuses, on the other hand, may be an issue.
