Insane Difficulty: Assistance required: Error using A-Ptch. - Insane Difficulty

Greetings, I apologize for not being patch-savvy in advance.
When attempting to patch my FFTA GBA Rom, I encounter an error claiming "The file [I am] trying to patch is not a valid one".
Could anyone assist me in overcoming this error?

Side note: The Rom I have works on VBA, so I, personally, see no issue with the Rom itself.

Hello, it's most likely the rom is not compatible with the patch. I downloaded 3 or four different roms before it worked for one of them. Hope that helps.

I've tried several different websites, but to no avail.
