I need some help naming my team. So far I've got SinisterKjata, FlexBuffChest, Chet Manly, and Missy Maiden.

Thought I'd have a little fun with Tame at Araguay Woods. But I forgot the old adage: "Friends don't let guests use Item."

And now a video to display the other broken ability of mediators: Invite.
It also continues to amuse me that the name of my protagonist for this Knight/Mediator/Wizard challenge is "Ser Mediwiz."

So got a late start, been stuck working and taking care of the gf since shes in town, but started a fresh unedited iso of 1.3 and beat the intro missions, gonna head over to mandalia hired a few ppl, team looks like this so far:
Ramza, 70/70, Capricorn
Bateman, m, 70/60 Taurus
Heaven, f, 60/70 virgo
Hell, f, 60/70 taurus
MstrBATE, m, 70/60 Virgo
JailBATE, female, 70/60 taurus
and........Tia, f, 74/74 virgo, she came with the originals and fuck you im keeping her. Well probably wont use her but shes sexy.
Still have room for 1 more generic later, and a bunch of skellies but won't need them for a long time. First few chapters are gonna be boring mostly just oracles for growths early. If anything is interesting ill upload it or do a write up with screen shots.
Edit: Bateman is an absolute savage. Male oracle with equip bow, precision, ct save and an xbow equipped.

Update for you guys. I'm up to Velius now, and I've been putting my videos in a playlist. Here's a link to the playlist for anyone interested: https://www.youtube....LvOGAUWa8TpbaAl

Bateman, if you're going to use any of your skeletons I highly suggest the Bonesnatch tier. Not only are they massive tanks, but Demi 2 is decently accurate if your dude has high faith and you can heal yourself while damaging the enemy with it. I used one for all of Ch.3 during my last run.

A couple of chapter 4 battles so far have required me to deviate from my standard strat of suicide-bombing the entire map. Notable fights:
Bervenia Free City, where I took her down with one Meteor (I think it did 57 damage to her), and a few gunshots
Bethla Sluice, where I went all pacifist and stacked evasion. Used Throw Stone to get the archers off their perches and teleported Ramza onto them. No units were seriously injured.
So I'm up to Germinas Peak now and what I previously saw as the easiest battle in ch4 is starting to look like one of the more complicated ones. Lots of vertical disparity, enemies are varied in terms of speed and positioning, and those samurai guys know Chirijiraden... And then there's the vanish mantle which I would like to get.

No units were injured? What about that Knight who got washed away in the flood!

My life's work is complete!
Slight overstatement. For many years I have said that riding chocobos should be way cooler than it is. After all, mounted units revolutionized warfare. This is why I took chocobos in the draft: not because they're better then other monster classes, but because I wanted to be forced to find a new way to use them.
Well, I was successful!
So far this challenge I have been trying to go without using the Squire/Chemist classes or their skillsets (besides R/S/M). This forced me (at level 7/8) to find a way to beat Queklain without any kind of revival. Thankfully Mediators are broken so a lot of Preaching got me through the day. And, fun historical fact: Mounted units revolutionized medieval warfare because the horses on which knights rode were invincible so long as they touched a human. (Or so Tactics leads me to believe.)

Lesson learned this playthrough: Although you will not get a 'game over' if your playable characters are dead while a guest still lives, this does not apply to guests invited during the course of the battle. Which, let me tell you, is really annoying when they're higher level and better-equipped than your dead friends.
Looking back, I wish I had been recording my attempts at Grog Hill to capture my eventual victory. This was another battle that became rather difficult without revival—though I've still managed to get through without using Item or Basic Skill! But what made it great was this: in a last-ditch effort to not die I invited a Chemist, who then finished off the last remaining Samurai as Marche hid in a corner and my five non-guests all lay dead. Fun times!
(And with the invite-stolen Magic Cannon I managed to squeak through Yardow Fort City on the first try. Guns for the win!)

Did you invite the ninja with two air knives and a thief hat? I still don't have any thief hats on my run because I can't steal stuff and they're not available in shops yet.
