Insane Difficulty: Which emulators work with the mods? - Insane Difficulty

Do the playstation mods like FFT 1.3 only work on the psx emulator or do they work on other ones like Mednafen or ePSXe?

I have psx, but I cannot get it to use the correct aspect ratio for the game in full screen. It just stretches it to 1920x1080 no matter what resolution or aspect ratio I choose in the config.

Epsxe and psx work for Monster Tactics. I'm not 100% sure about other emulators but fairly recently I fixed all the load delay issues that could cause it to not work on other emulators, but can't actually test on systems I don't have/no one else has gotten back to me on this one.

ePSXe is recommended for FFT mods, basically. I'm not sure abot the rest of the emulators, but I've heard good things (iirc, someone might correct me) about pSX. But if you're into PSX mods, ePSXe is a good bet, if not a sure one.
