This is the current version of 1.3 but with fixed storyline enemy levels. You are free to level as high as you want, and they will not match their levels with yours. This means you can grind to a higher level if a particular battle is giving you too much trouble. You can grind to Level 99 and get as much JP in whatever job so you can attempt any battle at your own pace or to experiment the new content.

- Lich now deals Dark damage with a 20% chance to cause Death.

- Monsters 1hko everything (for example goblings and their "triple pounch", this is pretty stupid coz increasing dmg is the most simple, uncreative and pathetic way to make a game harder)
- Many fights have to be fixed and actually give a chance(or way) to win not based on luck... for example the rescue of mustadio (at the beggining, when u cant train ur chars and get better skills), mustadio throws himself in the middle of all enemies killing himself without even give u a chance to do anything... i over discarting the first option and just let mustadio die.
- Evade rate is just ridiculous for some jobs, even priest or wizards evade too much and its not funny using concentration all the time.
- Thieves stealing and destroying our precious equips everywhere, you know how anoying and pointless is this?, i know its a part of the game but apparently you decided to increase the success rate of those skils and put thieves on a LOT of maps, u know how many times i had to restart almost finished battles for this? sry but the idea is just dumb.
I like the new content, coz i cant play the psp version, but just dislike the way u made the game "harder"
btw u should add "jp up" on any version coz not everybody can or want to spend half their lives mastering jobs.
Evasion isn't much different from the original game.
All fights in the game can be won with a relatively small amount of luck, go ask people on the 1.3 board who are more experienced with the mod.
JP UP being gone is countered by the fact that the vast majority of abilities cost much less JP now. JP UP was a Support Ability crutch.
This mod is simply great!
AI seems to use the abilities better.
Most early game cheap game abuses are done.
Squire class is very useful and is a good secondary while training depending on the main class.
White mage and Black mage classes are better and more tactical.
Knight class rend ability is great! Can hit from a few spaces BUT no two swords abuse.
The list goes on. Even adding gil toss to thief was a suprisingly game changing move,
Also I love daggers. +1 speed on daggers is a fantastic idea. Actually creates two early game ninja setups for me.
Tonberry and cactaur are great monster additions! Made the first random battle in Mandalia plains and zeaklus dessert very challenging. At first it was too challenging but there is always a way!
Word to the newbies. Go for job points, not experience. Unlock as many classes as you can and get their core abilities. Make each member of your team a little different.
..... just remember "DODGE!"
