It makes things a lot easier. With the amount of different categories we have its very nice to just be able to click on something to see what is new on the forums. I don't have really much more to say to support it, its greatness speaks for itself.

It's still there (functionally), I just hid it.

I think it's a good idea to put it back in, honestly. I don't follow that many threads, but it's convenient if nothing else.

I used it all the time. I'd vote yes in a poll to bring it back.
Currently, I use the one at the bottom of the front page, called "Today's active content." It serves the same purpose, but it's a pain to have to scroll down to hit it.

I'm just gonna' put it out there that my forum has a "View new posts" and "View your posts" search, and everyone regards them as the handiest buttons on the net. Hence, though I've not been here long, I voted for its return.
