Right now I am working on the beta of Risen Star. I did a private release to a few people but version 0.030 will be the public release of the beta. Some things to expect are listed below. If you have are wanting to know what to look forward to.
Changelist: [Updated: 6/14/2012]
- All characters start out at level 50
- All classes revamped to support the new starting level
- Difficulty of every boss and enemy up to gaia rock buffed
- Like in Fallen Star Bosses will get 2 turns and thanks to TLA's programming it is now possible to have 3 turns for bosses
- Massive Overhaul of Felix, and Sheba's Class tree
- Felix Gains Odyssey permanently however he loses Ragnarok. The inverse is true for Isaac.
- Felix now has more plant based Psynergy like Thorn and Growth Psynergy trees.
- Felix's Class Progression: Brawler > Gladiator > Baron > Lord > Slayer
- Sheba is now more offense oriented to offset Ivan who is more support based
- Sheba's Class Progession: Wind Seer > Astrologist > Soothsayer > Prophetess > Spellbinder
- Jenna loses the Flare series of Psynergy and gains the Zeal series of Psyergy which is the Mars version of Ply
- Buffed Aura series of Psynergy to match the Wish series of Psynergy
- Changed most of Jenna's First tier of each Psynergy to be single target but hit harder.
- Felix gains a new innate skill Grand Saber which he recovers 50% of the damage to his HP
- Jenna gains a new innate skill Heat Vein which does has a chance to drop Defense by 25%
- Sheba gains a new innate skill Psy Storm in which she gives up some of her PP to an ally
- Piers gains a new innate skill Storm Jet which doubles AGI of one party member and is his only healing skill
- Piers loses the Frost series of Psynergy but gets the Douse series of Psyergy
~ Cool now acts like Frost Psynergy on the over world.
- Piers loses the Ply series of Psynergy but gains the Prism series of Psynergy
- King Scorpion now has 3 turns and drops the Burst Ring which grants Felix, Burst Edge
- King Scorpion gains Burst Edge, Quake Sphere, Twin Shear, Desert Gasp, Sand Breath, Paralytail, Poison Tail and Cure Well
- Briggs and co are buffed significant with Briggs using the signature pirate skill from FS
- Briggs gains Headbutt, Rapid Smash, Mizu no Orochi, Lethe Albion and Aqua Sock
- Briggs now drops Mizu Ring
- Sea Fighters gain Cutting Edge, Plume Edge, Dreamtide and Hurricane
- All monsters buff significantly to match the power of players as you start off at level 50
- All monsters including bosses drop 1 EXP so that players will not out level Isaac and CO
- All Basic Items Price adjusted to cut out the cheat with tickets and to get the players to play through battles
If there is anything else you would like to see or want to offer a suggestion make it here then.

I would also like to see a "Hot Coffee" mod for this where you can invite Jenna into your mom's house...
Ha dude I am really excited for this, though I gotta tell you I am kinda curious why you are starting everyone at 50.

the Level Cap in FS is 50 so i start the TLA team at level 50 and adjusted monster exp so you won't out level them.

Why not just let us level our characters as we see fit? Isn't that how they did it in the vanilla Lost Age? It's been awhile, so pardon my noobness. I am concerned about this, as one of my main draws in RPG's is the sense of growing more powerful over time. When you level up and learn some really cool move, it's exciting. If you hand me 4 max level'd characters, then part of that sense of awesomeness is gone. I know you still have to find the djinn, but even then, some of that draw will be missing. Conquering enemies in Fallen Star and getting stronger was extremely satisfying, and I am worried that without that part of the game, RS will be a static challenge. Does that make sense?
Also, bro this looks hella exciting. Fallen Star was hardcore, I can't wait to sandbag some more in this. You are the masta!

Worry not there is a sense of progression. It is done via getting djinni and gear and you will definitely have a sense of progression in the game. You won't be leveling in the same sense but each time you get a djinni you will be getting new skills and abilities.
