One thing I learned the hard way is that it's VERY BAD to do something and not give credit to where it's due.
In this thread..I will post every single person I can remember who made this hack possible. Even if it was a small addition to the game.
-------------------------
For starters: Super Mario RPG is a game owned by Nintnedo and Square Soft(Square Enix). This is a fan-based Mod.
-FIrst of all...most of the Credit goes to Archeal for allowing me to host my game on this site. This game was originally hosted on gamefaqs, but somebody decided to be a dick and flag it. Jealousy?
-------------------------
-The second person I want you guys to acknowledge is Gangurgolo. 50% of this game was made using his Lazy Shell Editor program.
http://home.comcast....pg-rom-hacking/
-The rest of the game was made using the Translhextion Hex editor. Not the best, but it got the job done.
DOOMSDAY!!
-----------------
Long story short, this project might have died where it not for this guy. He has turned this hack into completly different game!!! From Auto-Life, to 16-bit attack values, to double turn equipment, to 9999 HP, to respecing allies.....to readable 5 digit damage, you name it, he's done it!!!
-------------------------
-MrDoom8000:
https://www.facebook...PartyTV?fref=ts
When I saw his video of him playing a hard mode of the original game, he had me laughing for days when he faced the supped up Shy Ranger. Not only is he responsible for the creation of Anti-Guy, but this is what motivated me to hack this game. He's one of main reasons this hack was created.
-------------------------
Swat Kat Omega:
He has been VERY helping. It was because of him that I was able to fix a few bugs and learn a few more tricks.
BlackCecil:
This guy was the very first to upload full videos of the boss rush back in the day. It was also full of laughs.
-------------------------
Blaise Huskins:
Haven't heard from this dude in a while, but he has spent a while playing older versions of my game and I got some good suggestions from him.
-------------------------
M.E.R.255:
This guy made a Shadow Queen SPC. I can't contact him to let him know that I'm using it in my game. I added my own touch to it for spell casting.
-------------------------
Atma and Lou from Super Mario World Central:
As much as I would LOVE to take full credit for the 2 new FF battle themes, I can't. I ported them from SMW Central and added I my own touches to make them fit Mario RPG instruments.
Hans-460 for the Rosalina Sprites
http://hans-460.devi...rsion-131748610
Jimmy52905 From SMW Central for Rosalina's Observatory Song.
omegaslaserdude and TheKCroxas from deviant art for the sprite of a certain boss in this game. I took the body of one, and the head of another.
DruidVorse for the title screen
Wolfblade for his dedication to speed running this game!
-------------------------
-Pretty much EVERYBODY here on this site for baring with me and helping me find/fix bugs.
I will post more individuals when I get back from Vacation.

I found this hack after thinking "I wanna play mario rpg again" so I started searching for the rom (since I bought a new phone and jail broke it) and I downloaded it and started playing then I thought to myself....."I've been playing this game since I was 7 years old I need a modded version" I downloaded a few but in no time they got boring. Though every time I search mario rpg I see "Armageddon" right after it, but always ignored it because I thought it was like the other mods. Then one day I said "what the fuck lemme give it a shot." I played it and I'll admit I was bored in the beginning, but then I discovered a boss that hit me over 1000. I was like "what the fuck is this?" I started to laugh and I fought him again. I couldn't beat him so I said "let me come back later" I started playing through the game a bit more and ran into another very strong boss. All that was on my mind was "this game is fucking amazing" I saw a few bugs and weird things happening but I realized this game is still in progress. I joined this forum to get updates on this game because it's so awesome. I may be annoying on this forum but I like to show you that your game is awesome and I check this site every day to see if there are updates and hopefully get some help on it because i suck lol
You're awesome and everyone that inspired you is awesome and I wish you the best of luck in completing this game. Also make sure you stay healthy and don't overwork yourself.....take a break whenever needed. Idk what it's like to hack this game but from the looks of it.....it's a tough job.....especially since you're doing it for free.

I was one of the very first to upload videos of the Dark Aeons in FFX..and everybody called me the Final Fantasy God.
But I learned a lot from Gamefaqs and I didn't give them credit. For a few years...I was one of the most loved people Youtube..and most hated persons on gamefaqs.

Thanks.
I've been workingon this game for about 4-5 years now. It started out as s simple difficult mod..and slowly began to turn into a MArio/Final fantasy game. I wasn't satifed with just stronger monsters. I wanted new moves, new weapons, new items, new events, new monsters, new features. I want people to have a reason to play this game. This isn't your typical 20 minute modded game. I currently don't have the skills to make a COMPLETLY NEW GAME yet...but someday I will.
You can problay find videos of classic boss fights of this game to see how much it has evolved.

I know I'm not on the list of credit...ees(?) but I'm glad I was able to show you firsthand about the final FINAL boss and that we got some ideas about a way to fix her so she is beatable.

Thank you dark for allowing me to relive this great game in such a great way. Seeing you do all this in a her editor is bad ass, and a great application of programming knowledge. I wanna cover it on my YouTube channel and give it more exposure!

That update applied or still considering who's names to specifically also mention? I guess it is a pretty old original post after all.

"Swat Kat Omega" was kind of a mistake alias, the username I usually go by is "Yakibomb". I'm the one who's making Plumber's Parasitic Plant Problem and the one who updates the list of all SMRPG hacks on the net. I also made that Magikoopa sprite for you, too.
Thank you for putting me on the list, too! It feels good to be credited.

Aww I'm not part of it for beta testing v8 (or was it 8.1?)
Haha oh well. I know I'm not important
