I feel Storm Tornado is in a good spot now. It'd be a lot better if I could limit the amount of damage it does, perhaps making the tornado shorter, but I don't wanna get into that. You'll be grateful about the ammo being restored after dying, because you'll get a lot more attached to the Tornado.
I actually could have been *a lot* more evil with the flying birds, I tried to make it so if you get hitm you can recover by moving somewhere near, but yeah... I tried to make it harder than vanilla.
Octopus is absolutely evil. I'm in love with that fight, it gives you such a sense of achievement when you beat it.
Kuwanger's stage is the one where I went kinda reckless. I'm in love with that stage as well, heh.
Enjoy the Sigma Stages. Remember you don't have any means to exit the stages once you come in (except for save states), so be sure to stock up on upgrades.
How didn't i see this sooner?

Sigma Stage 1: the first part of the stage isn't that bad. The section after Vile.... oh god, i suck at avoiding those wall things, combined with the flying thing that hovers over your head and appears randomly for extra rage. Kuwanger rematch was kinda annoying. Going back to the checkpoint after vile became annoying at one point. I think you exceded a bit with the number of wheels and flying troll things at the end of the stage ......... The spider..... well, is pretty much the same as in vainilla, only faster.
Sigma stage 2: first section is fine, Chill penguin is still easy. I had a hard time with the ride armor, that thing explodes after 3 hits (5 if you're lucky). Climbing section was kinda har for me. Storm Eagle, i was like with 3 HP left and he almost dead and the bastard decide to use the flying move, my hand were totally sweating at that moment. Rangda something is an easy boss fight, not too much to say.
Sigma stage 3: five rematchs and a stage boss.... yeah, i suffered a lot. I literally spent 40 minutes trying to take down armadillo. Chameleon rematch is even easier. Mandrill rematch wasn't that bad. Octopus was somehow easier. Mammoth rematch was easy compared to the first time fighting him without armor or hearts.
The stage boss is annoying, and also has an unnevadeavble attack.... then the game frooze, and somehow the boss rematches that took me like an hour and half, took 15 minutes to beat, a total miracle...
stage boss again...... beat this thing was painful, specially when you have the pressure of the game probably freezing again wich, thankfully, didn't happen.
Sigma stage 4: i had more problems with Velguarder than Sigma himself. Sigma 1 wall jump lock is still possible as long as you have the right timing, using level 4 buster, uless for finiish him, is a no, it makes you hover in mid air a fraction of seconds enough to make sigma hit you. Sigma 2 is not really a hard boss fight, but is good enough to deserve the final boss title.
The mod was great, it's the best game experience i've had in months. I'm going to try a low%, but i want to record it so Hart can see more people suffer at his mod. I need to test whether i can record the game at a decent speed or not . if it where to be a no..... probably when i decide to make a new CPU i'll record it.

Congrats. It's always nice to see someone else beating it. Velguarder being harder than the rest of the gauntlet is an odd one, but understandable if you don't know that the buster stops him in his tracks.
As discussed in chat, I think the crashes on zsnes are from your end, because I've tested the mod mostly on zsnes (it's my preferred emulator for MMX casual playthroughs), so yeah. Can't say much about it more than that.

yea the crashing is weird. maybe you are using some odd controller setup, causing a freeze? because ive played with zsnes for a long time and i dont think ive ever once had it crash on me (on a large variety of extensively modded/hacked roms and regular roms)

Thinking about it, some days ago i plugged a controller to see if i played better with a controller or a keyboard, lame excuse to not admit my bad skills, even though i already admited that a good number of times. It's not probably the reason, but it might be.
Anyway, i downloaded Zsnes again just in case, if it were to happen again, it's definetily my computer trolling me. Or i somehow failed to patch correctly the game, that would be strange because i never experienced bugs or glitchs on the whole game.

Fixed the Death Counter error with that particular password for the next version. All passwords should work properly with the Death Counter now.

Seriously though, why on earth would there be more than 1 routine to set the same values. Dafuq capcom. As you may guess, it wasn't only that particular password, so it wasn't just game trolling you.
