Should i play the original before trying the remake? Trying to expand my horizions while waiting for the next fft 1.3 from arch.

By remake do you mean mod, or..? I'd recommend you play FS before RS, but it's not necessary that you play Vanilla first.

Ah. Yeah, like I said, that's not really necessary. It's got a rather nice difficulty curve (you may need a Water of Life or two for the Bandits at the beginning, because Ivan is Legendary in this mod for dying.

I actually encourage people to play this over vanilla first because vanilla teaches a lot of bad habits. For instance Summon Rushing is a major issue with Vanilla and I effectively killed that in this mod.

So basically like what Vanilla FFT does when you go to play 1.3.
