Heck, the Gabomba Statue is really where the djinni truly start getting scary to fight.
As for enemies, the few that immediately come to mind are the Pixie, Dirge, and Gnome. I can basically kill the Pixies and Gnomes before they can act and the Dirge never did anything that was going to scare me out of my seat.
