Edit: I made these, no portraits because those are stored somewhere else anyways, actually don't put the portrait on the actual sheet.
Soldier and Paladin complete sheets
And why do the work for Bangaas, Moogles and monsters when someone already has? Also some "hero" characters.

Edit 2: Also if you make something, don't be afraid to post it, I think everyone working on FFTA X will give crits and try to help

I also hope for a day when we can insert and extract sprites from FFTA with ease, would be so sweet! Right now its not the main concern, but keep making sprites for that day when it comes!

This game is like a stop motion movie: Each moviment is a frame.
I don't know, but I think the game renders the image according to the background colour to recognize the color sheet.
Try to see any object sprite sheet...

1st layer (most in the background) is actually the background Sky layer, and is made up of special effects like when a spell is cast, the screen becomes "dark", but in reality all 4 layers become dark.
2nd layer is the Turf layer, which is obviously made up of the "turf" aka the land on which the units stand.
3rd layer is the Mob layer, which is made up of all the units in the game like Marche or a viera, etc.
4th layer is the Object layer, which is made up of not only objects seen like swords swinging, but also the spells are considered objects.
There may be a 5th layer called the Fly layer, which is also made up of objects that must be presented above all other layers.
Now you might wonder what is this bs I am rambling on about, and how the hell would I know this. Its simple, watch extremely closely whenever a unit who is "hidden" behind something like a tree or a building when he performs an ability action, the mob and object layers will most likely appear before the thing they are hidden by, which makes no sense. Another example is try moving (now this is isometric view) infront of a small obstacle when the unit is originally behind it. If you look at it very closely, the unit will often have his head chopped off for a split second. I can make a screenshot of what I'm talking about, but later, now I'm busy

Jon: The sprites don't really have a layer, they can be behind/infront of any layer. Also, send Holy that program I sent you, if you still have it.

like ya say it is alot of effort to go to just to change a the chain, i did my XJR which came with a split link and changed it for a soft link, thats what prompted me to get the chain riveter. That way i can do any chain then.
So the chain is continous then? no soft link or anything???
