Quite a lot has been achieved, and fixed up. I was waiting around for a couple more things to be done while I was testing the hell out of all this, but I'm not sure how much longer they will take, so in the meantime we might as well release this behemoth of an update.
As always, thanks one and all for playing and helping with these update with reports and feedback, and of course those who helped work on it in some way. Hope you guys enjoy version 1.5.4!

guyz, i dun goofed. In my infinite wisdom and classic rotds new version release fashion, I managed to knock out accidentally the natural stat growth with a recent patch that was implemented, and just now I find this out... SO, if you downloaded the v1.5 update earlier today, please re-download. ty.

Wow first "Mother 2 Deluxe" and now this hack is getting a major update/release !!
Looks like my SNES emulator will be keeping me entertained until Persona 5 and Pokémon come out later on this year ^_^"
But man, this I quite the huge change log.

Very happy to see that come of the music has been updated/fixed...looking at you "Lufia 2" music.
Also, it appears you have touched up some character's status ailment colors.
Looking forward to checking out all of the new sprites add to this hack.

Already had to update yet again. Back to the three digit version # again sigh. Nothing too bad but I neglected to see during my testing that the Recharge! item was still insta-killing Undead, so now it can't target monsters at all okay problem solved.

- Corrected a small quirk with the Skull Train battle.
- Big Daddy enemy can no longer be Controlled.
- Varia Suit can be equipped by all now.

You are preventing Recharges from targeting undead enemies, but are you preventing the player from using Muddle to circumvent that?

No sir I wasn't aware this was a thing. I'm not too worried about it though because no boss besides the Phantom Train has the Undead flag and regular monsters are okay, but still it would be nice to take care of that loose end. I might have to follow suit and make it cast on monster only like BNW did.

v1.5.2 is out now that fixes a horrible issue of Jump missing every time, and brings in a new sprite for Cloud.

Updated hack to v1.5.4 today, had to do it somewhat pre-mature due to an event freeze emergency issue. So the next version will feature the difficulty selection feature (courtesy of Madsiur) that was planned for this release. And possibly a nice artbook/instruction manuel (courtesy of James White) as well, but that may still take a while.

- fixed an unforgivable game-breaking freeze in WoR Jericho.
- fixed a bug with Otis jumping in the air, dying, and not coming back down.
- fixed a bug with colosseum propagator not dying.
- greatly editited final Kefka AI script.
- nerfed Gladiator enemy.
- removed the odd case of Sleeping Bags being added to the inventory after Tritoch.
- removed back row check flag for Galick Gun.
- fixed a bug in propagator's main script.
- added Think0028's nATB basic patch to the 'extras' folder.

Rename your .srm file to match whatever you named the latest version and you're good to go.

Well, if there have been changes in item data between versions, it would affect your inventory. Seems unlikely from looking at the changelog.
On a side note, there's nothing weird about the 2 Sleeping Bags after Tritoch, seeing as there are two soldiers with Terra at the start of the game that are vanished. Arvis scavenged their dropped gear.

I did think this, or even that Tritoch Morphed them into Sleeping Bags. But if the Soldiers had these items it should have been in the shared inventory is the way I look at it. That and ever since that time with the Gamma Sword appearing in the inventory, I don't take kindly to any surprise items going into the inventory lol. This Sleeping Bag one I just found out about recently, very surprised I never noticed before. If Arvis said anything about finding items on them it would be clear this is what happened. I'm guessing the developers did intentionally add these items, for some reason, 2 Sleeping Bags... but if they intended them to be from the soldiers I'm afraid we will never know for sure.

Updated hack to v1.5.5:
v1.5.5
- corrected an issue of wrong palettes on many item animations.
- raised the chance of a successful steal some more.
- re-balanced various monsters/bosses.
- Recharge! (cures KO'd) now gives 1/4th HP back instead of 1/8th.
- Karma Jolt (cures Zombie) now gives 1/8th HP back instead of just 2, which was a mistake.
- swapped in a new song.
- moved location the of the rare Light Dragon monster encounter in the WoR to a desert and made the Jabbrwocky 1/16th rare encounter again in the dino forest.
- removed split damage flag for Meteo, raised damage to compensate.
- tweaked a couple spell costs.
- tweaked the natural magic lists a bit.
- made it so healing items don't go to waste on a dead person. (thanks to m06)
- fixed an issue with the Remedy/Digestol item animation being messed up.
- reverted Break spell animation back to original.
Difficulty choice feature is still in the works for next version hopefully.

Hey man, silly question perhaps, do I have to start a new game from 1.5.4 to .1.5.5? I've replayed through almost every update thinking it was so lol

For most of the updated you will not need to, but sometimes I will go and swap a new item or items in, and change their positions around, or change natural magic order, treasures, etc. So you might notice some weird instances happening if you are playing between versions, but nothing that would cause the game to break or freeze. Sometimes though something that alters the RAM will be done, and that usually would require a new game or else it would result in something bad.
I would recommend starting a new game for a new version, just because I can't be positive that nothing bad will not happen and usually these updates have a bunch of new 'things', but usually you could take a look at the change log and judge for yourself if a new game would be required, or if it was just a small update that wouldn't be worth it.

I felt it just took a bit longer than it needed to be and might detour people from using it even more than normally. There's a bunch of animations though that are now more lengthy, so I guess it's not a big issue. Besides that, I've forgotten how the original Break animation looked, and when I saw it I re-liked it enough to put it back in. I can at least reconsider putting the other break animation back in though, now that I hear it was liked by at least one person. But for now it's back to original yeah.
