Ah, good; in that case, the current flevel patch (4th August) should fix the problem. It's available from the Download/News thread on this sub-forum.

After WEAPON is summoned/Meteor is in the sky, you're in Junon, Barret is tied up, Tifa is gonna die, blah blah blah, drama drama drama.
Using the Save Point first, which I've found to be a good idea, if you try and use Rank-Up, afterwards the game warps you to a different map, you can't see the characters at all, or move, but you can access the menu. I had to reset and continued on just fine without using Rank-Up.
Also, after you get Yuffie in your party, any fight between her and the airship will result in an error (Unknown Exception), and the game crashes. What would cause that?

No worries, bud; I've fixed both of these in the current flevel patch. The first was a 'wrong warp' using the wrong map ID as a destination, and the second was an encounter table using deleted fights that hadn't been disabled. The flevel patch can be found on the News/Downloads thread on this sub-forum, it's applied in the same way as the Main Installer; just point it at the game's data folder.

Incase you're wondering, no other mods on here save for yours, along with the various patches you've posted.
And I have to ask, did you drop the idea of graduating stat limits/bonuses like what was posted in the 1.3 Mod Database Document?

I clean forgot about that. Someone told me that certain bonuses/penalties were broken; I need to fix the .EXE patch. That database is out of date as well, it lists .EXE bonuses/penalties for an older build that didn't work out very well. I'll need to set some time aside.

I should have taken these notes down when I was playing last night, but I was tired and just trying to get through some parts.
Anywho, just made it to Disc 3 and feel the need to run around and do all the things.
When you visit Bugenhagen (butchered his name I think) you get Red's weapon and something else, but that something else is not showing up at all in my inventory, or under key items. I thought I could go back down to the caves with it, but the switch still says only Bugen can use it, and won't let me try again.
Also, is the Summon Huge Materia somewhere that I missed? I may have to get it from the bottom of the ocean, but I thought it was in your inventory automatically after winning the mini game.
When you go to look at the Huge Materia in Bugens tower, you only really see Clouds feet (graphical glitch), and can still interact with them. I left before a soft lock....which, OH!
The save point in the sewer when you return to Midgar, I believe it's the one if you keep going South, you try to Rank-Up, the game soft locks.
Also, am I supposed to be able to swap out party members? I've been reading on the qhimm forums, and it seems everyone else can/has except me. Also the guy that I've read about to the right in the Operations room in the Highwind is absent. Which means I can't fight older bosses at the end of Disc 2.
All of these except where obvious (return to Midgar) are in Disc 3, pre-Northern Crater. I haven't gone down there yet. I want to get everything done prior. Am I missing anything by that? I noticed that using Tifa's piano does nothing, as does the broken machine in Wall Market, am I missing something?

For the Red XIII thing, Bugenhagen should give him Seraph Comb (a triple AP weapon in NT) and a Key to the Cave of the Gi. The key isn't really an item at all, it's just a bit of text to accompany a variable trigger to re-open the door that allows access to the cave. If the door is still shut for whatever reason, then I'd recommend going to the bottom of North Cave and returning. Like Brims said, there's also an NPC down there who can teleport you back for a fast return trip.
The graphical glitch (huge upside down Cloud?) is a rare glitch in FF7 PC where Cloud's field model size will be 'maxed out' and when a model gets too large it inverts. That's why he's huge + upside down, it's actually harmless as far as I know so it won't cause a crash but better to be safe than sorry; leaving the field and returning should correct it. Other places it can happen are the second screen in the game, the bridge in Corel, and likely others.
I knew I was missing something. I'll get that save point corrected, I'm assuming it's a wrong jump of some kind like what happened with some of the others.
Is this the Party Leader swap you're talking about, or just regular PHS? For the party leader swap you need to go to the bottom of north cave; the scene down there sets the game moment variable to 1998, which is the highest it goes before the point of no return (final descent). I used that as a trigger to unlock most of the stuff in order to avoid script conflicts. Same thing with the Lv.4 Limits like Tifa's Piano, etc.

Yeah, the old rewards for the Kalm Traveler items aren't there anymore. Instead, you get three battles that have drops & Enemy Skills to learn. The Yahcobo (Desert Rose) teaches Pandora's Box, while the Guidebook gives a fight that can teach Dragon Force when it's beaten. Both E. Skills are used when the monster is killed, so all you need to worry about is having your E. Skill on an alive party member when the enemy dies. The Earth Harp enemies don't have a unique E. Skill, but they drop an item used for Red XIII's ultimate weapon.

I'm in the Dark Cave. I can't progress upwards, though I see the way. I'm assuming I have to finish collecting everyone first. I have everyone but Aerith, but she isn't in any of the places I would expect her. In fact, I can't seem to find her at all. I noticed that I took the Cait Sith script before prompting the Cid script, resulting in Cid to simultaneously be in both places at once, I wonder if this has something to do with it..
Also, are you supposed to be able to exit this whole area? Cause I was able to just walk out normally. Rezoned just fine, but it seems like this wouldn't be advisable.

I wish I could recreate this because it makes racing so much better. Not sure what caused it

Yeah, that happens with FF7 sometimes (maybe the graphics driver). We're still not sure what causes it, but it's pretty handy.

That's odd, it was tested at the time. Maybe there's certain positions Cloud can get stuck from when triggering it. I'll revise the event to make it safer.
