Greetings, all!
I read in the official FFIII strategy guide back in the day that if you never bring Sabin & Edgar (the Figaro Bros.) to Figaro Castle in World of Balance in the same party, they grow distant. Does the story change? Do mechanics change? Are those changes (if present) still in BNW?
[Spoilers?] What happens if the Figaro brothers never visit Figaro Castle in WoB?

Nothing is off the table for 2.0 at this point, but we'll see. May be a difficult/convoluted story thread to write, though.

The brothers don't even talk THAT much, especially in WoR. I imagine it'd be doable by just adjusting their handful of forced interactions during WoR (post-Tentacles fight and their ending dialogue/scene, really) and pulling up a different dialogue line/tree there.

The tentacles fight isn't truly forced as you don't have to recruit Sabin beforehand. Could have an interaction during the Gau shopping scene as Sabin is needed to initiate it.

That might be something to look into on its own. Adding more optional dialogue options and stuff in different places.
