Insane Difficulty: Other late-game things I noticed and ponder... - Insane Difficulty

Death Penalty and Conformer deal siiiicccckkkk damage. Death Penalty powers up with MP, so when Vincent crits for 22k, I figured, maybe it was his MP accounting for the huge numbers. I have some magic plus materia floating around and his MP was a whopping 457 (uhhh... not that high?). But Yuffie with the Conformer, for no reason (to my knowledge) at all, will crit for 28k. Add that to a 4x and there is really no reason to call my man Alexander into battle... (who I've been spending hours to master with the rest of his knight buddies, by the way).

The encounter rates of Movers are changed, which makes me a little sad, but once my party approached level 90, grinding in the bog for AP suddenly became worthwhile again. This was also mostly due to Yuffie and Vincent DESTROYING those pesty Tonberries.

Finally, I tested this multiple times. After level 80, Cloud skips to level 87. Sweet. I guess.

I'm really pumped to fight the weapons. Because some of the final equipment is ridiculously overpowered, when I fight them, I will have a magic run and a no magic run. I didn't think I'd be taking down the secret bosses in this hack with a no magic setup, but for the sake of fun, it looks like it might have to be done.

I'm just posting this for the record... future crawlers of this board who enjoy a super fun hack... because everyone else is off playing new FF7 hacks right now...
