I grew up loving JRPGs, but they were never particularly challenging. Love the music, stories, progression, etc., but don't remember getting floored by one like everyone seems to be by Dark Souls these days.
I'm currently playing through FFVI: Brave New World, and it's a welcome take on my favorite game. I feel like a modded out Breath of Fire 3 would be most welcome, as I remember liking the first one a lot, and I know nothing of the story, characters etc. here, so wouldn't be as predictable as my nth take on FFVI or Chrono Trigger.
Thanks for any input!
Will this be a fun challenge for a first BoF3 playthrough?

This mod is nowhere even close to being done. The beta is only up to the mansion where you fight Amalgam, and it's not balanced that well.

Cool, well thanks for letting me know! Plenty of games (and fun things like work) to juggle in the meantime. Look forward to playing it eventually!
