I decided to try to play Fallen Star, but it seems I am not able to save. What gives? I tried a regular Golden Sun game, and it definitely works, so what's the deal here? I've tried other versions of Golden Sun and it results in either

1) I can't save
2) The game crashes upon start up.

Is there some version I'm supposed to be using because I cannot get it to function like a normal game. And I've even done my own mods of GS and this has never happened.

The only thing I could think of is a bad patch or bad rom? I dunno I haven't had any issues with the latest patch.

Not Sure if OP fixed it yet but, I just had this issue too.
The way to fix this though is to change your memory size

Change it too:
Options > Emulator > Save Type > Auto + Flash 64k (I had mine on 128k but it gave me this error till i switched it to 64k)

Ah. So it's a similar problem to what happened with some of the ROMs here. Yeah, I think I'll check that out then. Thanks.
