For some reason those text boxes are really confusing for me. No idea why.

During this week, I'll be linking the test version to the Beta Testers, of the next version to be released, including all of the Day 2.
The thing about the next version, is that it will not only include Custom AI and formations, but also rebalance of ships and enemies' HP. So it will basically include everything, but the shops editing!
There's lots of new areas to discover if that's your thing. If you want to just blaze through the story though, you only need to go through the SciLab main areas.
We're still accepting Beta Testers! Anyone interested, sign up here!

Don't worry, you won't need to do Hex editing any time soon. I actually should remove that line, since I would just distribute the changes via a new test patch.
So, welcome aboard, and thanks!

Well, you sure show enthusiasm!
Welcome aboard mate. If you've been reading the forums, you'll notice me mentioning that the next release will take 1 or 2 months to be done, because it will include 3 quarters of the game or so. But I have you noted, and as soon as there's a test version you'll receive the PM with the rest!!
Also, welcome to ID. If you happen to find a mod that you'd like to play in the mean time, I can assure you those 2 months will pass quickly!

Now I'm trying to regain coincousness from those sleepless hours. And to get my shit together with college before getting into the modding again.
Thanks. I've said this many times, the Battle Network games simply have an amazing base for difficulty mods, and I feel I'm up to providing THE challenge the veterans (and the INSANE ones) would love in a game like this.

This RPG-hybrid is a mixed salad of genres, combining reflexes, planification similar to TCGs, strategy, tactical moving and planning, among many others. As the gameplay is based mostly on the 30 chips folder system, where you can make *any* kind of folder you'd like, we find ourselves with virtually countless possibilities for any sort of gameplay out there.
For example, while experienced players may go for an unicoded, or dualcoded folder, some other experienced players will argue (making perfect and rational sense) that more powerful, but multicoded folders might prove better in some ocasions.
These kind of debates are endless in Battle Network, and that's why I want to offer you guys to be part of the project from step one.
The kind of things you'd be part of:
- You'd get to play the mod before anyone else!
- You'd get to give me feedback and influence the approach of the mod directly!
You'd be able to give me ideas on how to sadistically challenge the players!(Ehem, I didn't say that)
So, if you're interested, just say the word in this thread and I'll willingly send you a PM providing details on how you can help me.
Requirements:
Most basic knowledge of hex editing ("Go there, change this value, now you face this enemy, try it out", as simple as that)(Not anymore)- Having played *any* Megaman Battle Network game before (prefered but optional, since this will be designed for both new and experienced players)
- Will to provide feedback and make the project better!
Any questions, post them here as well!
Hey Sorry I'm a little late to this (i just discovered the forum and mods) but BN3 is my one of my favorite games. I've beaten it a TON of times and know it like the back of my hand, any help you need with this mod I'm definintely willing to give you. I'm good at the game in addition to knowing it well and should be able to help you find any bugs or whatever or just give my input). Am I in?
