Three mods of the same type for Streets of Rage 3.
First mod: Streets_of_Rage_3_(U)_[!]-20000. In this mod characters get a star for every 20 000 points. Usually, In the original version of game, characters get a star for every 40 000 points. (This mod makes the game easier by 10%.)

Second mod: Streets_of_Rage_3_(U)_[!]-15000. Characters get 1 star for every
15 000 points.

Third mod: Streets_of_Rage_3_(U)_[!]-10000. Characters get 1 star for every 10 000 points. (This mod makes the game easier by 30%.)

That actually sounds pretty nifty, but just so you know, there's actually a set of commands that you can do with each character with a 6 pad controller to actually do their star attacks.
Holding the X button allows you to then input the commands for each character (unique to each one) and then execute star attacks. The only one you can't do is zero stars. Fortunately, everyone's 1 star attack is the same as their 0 star attacks, it's just more aggressive.
And for some characters, I honestly prefer their 2 star attack over their 3 star attack. Axel comes to mind for this as his 3 star attack leaves him really open if you miss.
