The wait is finally over guys. Thank you for your patience.

I trust by now that every body knows the rules of patching the game? Long story short...past beta players..since the game was upgraded a lot..a new game must be started. We all know why this is the case by now.

First timers..I suggest you start with EASY mode unless you want to get your ass handed to you before you reach the Bowser.......You need to get a feel for this hack before you even consider hard mode. Even VETs might want to consider easy mode first because of the changes.

This is the real deal here. This is NOT a beta test. All upgrades are final unless a serious bug pops up and needs to be fixed. Later on in a month or so I might add a new song..but that's it.

In case you encounter something really bad...remember that ths is a large game to hack. It's easy for me to miss something. I beat I missed something down the road. Let's just hope it's not serious. Have fun guys. And those playing the hard mode......have fun "DYING!!" Keep in mind that I haven't tested the hard mode yet..so it might be unbalanced.


Don't even think about cross saving and mixing these two games. You'll be sorry.....

Again, please forgive me if something horribly goes wrong.

Yeah....same growth as the last version 8. HP cap is 1599.

About the dying thing. Well...the plan was for that to be a hidden monster thing only. But the normal battles are all linked...so I had no choice but to make them for all battles. There are only 2 battles in the entire game where this won't work....and you'll get a warning beforehand.

That was suppose to be Red. Thanks. It's a minor thing, so you can keep playing. I'll update it later when we find more stuff.

Mac HP's can't be viewed with a timed Psychopath, unlike other bosses that reveal the max HP.
I imagine this is known already, but I figured I should mention the "current" HP doesn't work if they have more than 9999 HP.

(I still beat him though)

Most monsters on hard mode have 50% more HP...and I didn't update this in the message. Opps....

I think part of the reason I had such a relatively easy time is because Mushrooms are healing for 255 HP instead of the 100 HP they were on the version I played before. Deliberate?

Well the HP cap is 1599 now. ..

You'll have 300 Hp by the time you get to Bowyer...so I wanted them to be somewhat useful. Don't worry, you'll start dying soon.

Considering many of the boss attacks will One-Shot the party unless you're at a certain level......No. Unless you route it perfectly to where you can beat them before they use it..( or if the attack misses).

But this doesn't matter..and you'll see why soon enough.

huh.... I was expecting Bowser to be a lot harder than what he was. I was expecting his physicals to do more around of the range of 30-50, not uhh...14 unblocked.

EDIT 1: Is Mushroom Way supposed to keep playing in battles? I thought the normal battle music was supposed to play?

Oh, I have no dream of winning without deaths. I died once to Mac, Bowyer, and Punchinello, and just beat *them* after only two deaths. I got lucky with Mallow being the target of the insta-kill multiple times in a row, letting Mario focus on doing what Mario does best.

The battle music not playing during most battles is something I saw before, and is likely the case in most normal encounters. I don't know the reason for it, though.

I'm feeling really dumb every time I choose 2 HP for Geno's level up over the others.... but the others are even worse, as far as I can tell.

There's a bug , on the hardmode , mallow cannot use Shocker x) the spell never get cast , and mallow is froze to his cast animation

Edit : Mallow cannot cast any spell

I just check it..and everything's Fine. Something might have gone wrong when you patched it. That happens sometimes.
