Welp, I've been pre-occupied with the joys of moving and job searching, and also had my attention pulled in a dozen other directions... but I am still slowly making progress! I've been working on giving enemy deployments different palettes depending on how your morale factor compares to theirs. Here's a couple screenshots of that system in action:
I think the red palette may need to be a bit redder, but otherwise it turned out pretty nice. -

It's not being worked on and is for all intents and purposes final. Maybe one day I'll revisit it, as I often do with my hacks, but there's no definite plans there.
When I played CT when it first came out, I don't think I really saw RPGs in terms of "easy" or "hard". It was certainly a more innocent time for me. Going back to play it as an adult, though, I find it extremely easy.
The only real tips are to be mindful of the fact that Dual / Triple techs are much more powerful options here than in the original game, and to go through Guardia Forest 1000ad once and spend your money before going on to Lucca's experiment at the start of the game. -

UPDATE: Enemy spawns on towns and temples is now implemented. I'm working on adapting enemy map movement AI to work with the new spawns now.
