The big changes in this update are a total overhaul of how stamina works so as to bring it more in line with the other stats (effectively nerfing the "Immortal Sabin" build we've been seeing a lot of) and a rewrite of the new dialogue to eliminate some of the more gratuitous swearing that we've been told rather constantly our mod is full of. It also includes an optional patch that eliminates swearing (and other assorted naughtiness) altogether if that sort of thing isn't your bag, baby. Just be warned that "Clean New World" was not taken seriously at all and contains many instances of obviously (and badly) censored dialogue.
Of course, there's a whole hell of a lot more, such as morph being reworked from a timed stance into a toggled one that raises Terra's offense at the expense of her defense, a new GP Toss formula that tempts a stamina-built Setzer to maximize its damage, and a major power boost for Umaro, just to name a few. The full changelog can be seen on the mod's download page.
As you would probably expect, this update WILL REQUIRE A NEW GAME since it changes several things that will not apply to an existing save. You can update without restarting If you're playing the 6th version of the beta or higher, but otherwise I'd recommend starting over.
Again, I want to thank Stann and everyone else who played through the beta and helped me out with feedback and other various forms of support. I love you guys.

I'm having trouble downloading the file. It downloads smoothly for the first 3.0 MB, but then stops before the last .1MB. Zip file is incomplete and won't unpack. Anyone else with this problem?
Cheers.

• Gau's stamina-based rages need a slight... tweaking >.>
• Scan may not work correctly on a few enemies that had their resistances changed in the 1.3.0 update
• A certain hidden item apparently does not work in the menu screen
• A certain caption shows up as a bunch of ampersands because herp-derp >.>
• Zone 0 (the upper-left-most corner of the WoB map) apparently got No-Encountered by mistake - I may or may not actually fix this
• Some enemy level conditionals weren't re-adjusted following the previous update's experience overhaul (I intend to further tweak a few enemy exp. values while I'm at it)
• The Auction House still says it's selling a piece of magicite even though the actual item has been replaced by a Phoenix Tear
• I'm going to lower the cost of the Quake spell to 45 given that its two casters are Mog and Sabin
• Apparently, I misspell "sorcerers" a lot in the dialogue
• I missed a few dirty words/lines in the censored version (I'm not at all surprised)
• The soldier in the bathroom at Vector should probably be a little more concerned about your party busting in and trying to talk to him while he's doing his business (apparently, he says "poo on peace!" in the Advance version... seems like a good fit for Clean New world)
• A few other lines need some slight tweaking, namely one of Ultros's and a handful of NPCs at Narshe
• Edit Wrexsoul's battle script so that some players (ANIMA) can't gank him before he even moves
• Consider making the stooge battle less of a pain in the ass to get through, possibly by lowering their (rather high) magic defense
• Betting a Nirvana Band at the Colosseum nets a Zephyr Cape, not a Muscle Belt as stated; likewise, betting a Rogue Cloak nets a Muscle Belt and not a Zephyr Cape
• And, of course, Edgar's new tools

It's for the best, though, since I ended up liking the Phoenix Tear idea much better.

The proper save's slots are at these points in the game:
Slot 1: Right outside Zozo after clearing it, with a party of Locke/Celes/Cyan/Gau
Slot 2: Slightly before Narshe vs Kefka
Slot 3: Outside Zozo before clearing it, with some Zozo chests opened (maybe all the ones not in the towers on the way to Dadaluma?)
In case starting after Zozo with a different party is desired (without having to go all the way back to Narshe first), there is savestate 1 that was made after acquiring the Magicite, but before going back down the tower and forming the party. However, Gau is dead and thus can't be immediately unequipped without reviving. Savestate 2 was made at the same location, but with Gau revived and unequipped (and also one phoenix down less in the inventory). (The savestates were made in ZSNES in case this matters.)
I did not pay particular attention to unlocking Veldt encounters, so these rages are the only ones Gau has in these saves:
I don't think I missed any chests/pots/whatever up until those points except for the ones that change content and the ones in the Beginner's School, but it could be possible. Characters were left with their default names.

So are there missing Veldt encounters I should unlock for rages? Unless it's something awesome I will pass. I hate Gau.

You are making a mistake. Take it from someone who knows.
I used to hate Gau. Like, I would literally go out of my way to never ever ever use him. I tried Gau in this mod, and it blew me away.
The number of rages has been massively trimmed down, and each one is pretty awesome in its own right.
Gau is fucking awesome now. He's probably the only non-mandatory character that will never leave my party.

It's funny, playing the old games like CT again, they are very easy. There really isn't anything to them. FF4 especially, all you have to do is win a few battles and you are good to go winning by hitting X repeatedly. There isn't really any strategy or customization or anything. I tried playing FF5 which has the awesome job system, but the game just... sucks. IDK what it is, it is just missing something. It doesn't have the epic or immersive feel that RPG's need. They really need to make some fresh, polished, high-quality games that can be played on hand-held...
But I digress...

That'd be nice, but unfortunately that's not a 16-bit image. If we did try to import that logo into the game, it would probably look more like this:

Blitz can be cheesed a bit. You don't have to use diagonals; instead, you can just use one of the two directions as a substitute. For example:
Aura Bolt is down-down/left-left but it can be pulled off by pressing down-down-left or down-left-left. Fire Dance can be pulled off by applying that method as well.
