Insane Difficulty: Chapter 3. Mining Town of Gollund - Insane Difficulty

Hi Everyone

I'm playing through Beta4 and encountered a hard stop at this mission (I think it's the one where you need to save Olan). The game just crashes to a black screen and my PSP shuts down a few seconds afterwards

• I'm playing on a PSP 1000 running 6.60 PRO-C
  
• my party doesn't have any hardly modded characters
  
• I even tried Ramza solo as knight with standard equipment only.
  
• All of my VSH settings are at their defaults
  
• I'm at level 60
  
• I have recruited some non-standard characters such as flans, boco and Agrias with her new skin, none of the come to this battle though
  
• I can go into random encounters just fine
  
• I have stolen a LOT of rare items
  
• My ISO is an EU version

Anyhow, the game has been great so far and I want to finish it but can't figure this out, any help would be greatly appreciated

This happens to everyone. You need to load the game in vanilla and get past the battle there, unfortunately.

There is a beta5 version, by the way. It's the final Bretto version of the mod. The next version will be Tides of Fate by kyozo22.

This is great, thanks man! You can tell I'm new to the forum...glad to know that there is people who like FFT and stay awake just as much as I do

This was the first bug that I fixed whn I started working on this, so it'll definately be sorted come th inital release of "Tides."

Glad you're enjoying Bretto's incarnation of th mod. If you enjoy mine half as much, I'll be ecstatic!

Unfortunately for the OP, B5 is where mine ended but it never got to get completed. I'm not happy with the final results, but unfortunately, these projects take a lot of time and offer zero monetary compensation, so, it ends there I am eagerly awaiting Kyozo's version soon!

hmm. I don't remember that conversation, lol. I knew it'd be simple, it was just driving me nuts what the hell I did to it in the first place.
