When you create an account for the expressed purpose of advertising, chances are you'll get flagged for spam.

The main difference to me between this post and posts related to the mods on this site is that the post is not meant to contribute to the community. The community is meant to contribute to your game. To be fair, the game is at least relevant to the forum's tastes (it's not for a shoe lineup or something, which is why I didn't downvote), but the Development Discussion forum is still not intended just to advertise works that happen to be in development.
