Spambots have been an issue again, flooding the forums annoyingly fast. I've just deleted 19 threads from a single account.

Also, the thing about these spam threads is that I can't delete them from the "Active Topics" section.

I suggested having some sort of approval system to where accounts can't post or won't show up without being validated by a moderator, or hell even a modder (assuming your first post is in one of our forums).

My suggestion is still to recreate the site so it's up to par security wise as well as design/feature wise. For now, just update to a modern and working captcha to keep out the spambots and then fix a whole new structure which we move the content over to, instead of patching an outdated platform. The latter would just be to polish a turd.
