Awesome! There can't ever be enough Mega Man. Concerning X3, have you considered making your Hard-Type patch work with Project Zero?http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/888/. Playing as Zero through the entire game would be fun.

News!

I'll be releasing X2's v.0.1.0 today.

To know what it will feature, check the Change Log thread!

(Basically, all of the engine changes needed for this part of the game, and only Wheel Gator's stage).

And stay tuned, because I'll be releasing v.0.1.5 within a week, including the intro stage as well!

I'm sorry guys. I'll be honest with you, I'm having trouble with the remaining 10% or so of v.0.1.0. I guess I need a bit more motivation, because I'm not having that much free time, and sitting in the computer and look at stats and theorize is not my preferred activity to do atm. I'll try to force myself to finish that, since it's easy to do, so I can move on to the fun stuff, designing levels again.

So, while I wait for Arch to formally give me a forum for X2, I'll update you guys.

Mega Man X2: Hard Type is released, version 0.1.0. It includes most of the engine changes, and 1 level so far, Wheel Gator. Download link is in the OP.

I'm working on 0.1.5, which will include the Intro Stage as well. It's about 60% already in only a few days, which is great news. This means that after I'm finished with what's left in Engine Changes, then designing the stages will be done much, much quicker.
