Greetings. Things don't seem to be active, however, I'd like to ask just a couple of questions out of sheer curiosity.
I've been playing this mod and I enjoy it a lot. I do understand there are a few bugs here and there. I just defeated Adrammelech, and well, since this is my first time, I've found this game to be difficult. But I do notice the difference between my previous knowledge of the game and my current knowledge. Not that I know everything but I've advanced a lot in the matter and I've learned a lot too.
I digress.
Taking into account the bugs here and there, the questions are:
1. I fought a Ramza, Death Seraph, in the Yuguewood. Was this added intentionally? If so, what was the purpose behind it? Upon defeating it, there's nothing really worth the while, except maybe a few gil and the "pride" of defeating a lucavi-like Ramza, is this how it's supposed to be?
2. I ended up beating this guy sooner than expected because my Kakashi got turned into a vampire. Since Kakashi is my fastest character, he got a lot of turns, and he was closest to this Lucavi Ramza, so he got to suck his energy quite a few times. However, every time Kakashi did this, he would deal 999 damage. So I did this to fight Adrammelech to test it, and Kakashi slaughtered Adrammelech being a vampire, sucking 999 of his energy. I REALLY doubt this was intended, or maybe there's some sort of formula that got screwed up in the port/rebalance but still, I ask... Is it supposed to be this way?
My apologies if I seem clueless or if I'm repeating questions already asked a while back. I did try to search for an answer within the forums, to no avail.
Thanks.
Just a couple of questions.

Blood Suck is a non-elemental fractional attack (at least it is in PSX 1.3; sounds like the same deal here), which means it'll do a ridiculous amount of damage on "???" enemies and will not be deterred by their Dark immunity.
By the way, the vast majority of us consider the PSX 1.3 the far superior mod, as the WOTL one is more experimental and unbalanced. I'd recommend giving that a try when you're done with the WOTL one. Also, not sure if you're familiar with the current plans for WOTL, but it will soon* be replaced by a new mod named Tides of Fate. You'll have seen that the forum has already been renamed for this. Perhaps it would've been better to create a separate subforum for ToF, but it seems a bit late for that now.
Welcome to forum insane difficulty
* this can mean anything from tomorrow to six months from now, or longer. Kyozo expects to release a beta fairly soon though.

Thanks! For the welcoming, the info, and the suggestion.
I did read that the PSX 1.3 mod was regarded the superior mod, but I guess I was always attracted to the inclusion of Balthier and Luso (not Luso in the WOTL mod, but still a pretty interesting character in his stead.)
I will try the PSX one as soon as I'm done with this one. From what I've read, it also includes quite the interesting changes (the idea of playing with Marche strikes me as fascinating.) I'm a bit of a completionist so it might take me a while to finish the rest of chap. 4, plus the after game dungeon in WOTL.
Hopefully, the Tides of Fate version will come as soon as Kyozo can make it, I'll be glad to become a tester of his next works and provide (hopefully) useful feedback as I learn more about the actual mechanics of this game.

I'm sure Kyozo would welcome the feedback.
If you're up for some light reading there's the FFT BMG that explains a lot of the game mechanics in detail. These aren't changed in the transition from PSX to WOTL.
Another (more) useful tool is FFTPatcher, as it allows you to view information specific to whatever mod you're playing, and it's always accurate because the information is taken straight from the iso.

Appreciated!
I will read the FFT BMG. I think I've got "some" of the basics down, but I still get doubts more often than not.
I will definitely check out the FFTPatcher as I play WOTL and FFT 1.3. Time to start playing!

Ludo has told you everything you need to know, but I'll add my "Hello! and welcome". Stick around, and if you have questions about anything the chat here is often active.

Thanks! I will definitely stick around.
I already got some other mods from these forums, but I got my hands full with those so I'll be playing the WOTL mod and the FFT 1.3 mod simultaneously for now.
