I have a chapter 1 save file in 1.3 content but I think I got the grasp of things and would like to switch to regular 1.3. I see that my save file is still recognized in regular 1.3 when I load the ISO and I wanted to know if this would cause any gameplay errors if I were to continue on with my content save file in regular 1.3. I'd rather not start over.

I don't *think* it will outright break anything, but equipment, levels, stats etc. may be different from what you would have experienced if you had started in the version to which you are switching. But, you know, if it's fun, go for it!

There will probably be errors.

Also, if you're only part of the way through ch.1, there's no good reason not to just start over. You're barely at the tip of the iceberg. More accurately, you haven't even boarded the ship that will take you to the arctic that will let you put your pinkie-toe onto the tip of the iceberg that extends all the way to the bottom of the deepest trench in the abyssal plain.

More power to you, though, for deciding to tackle the real deal instead of just content.

That's hilarious.

And yeah, I'd suggest starting over, so you also see how different the battles will already feel with scaled parties.

The save file (not save states!) will technically be compatible but the last content version was based off 1.3.0.6 while the current main version is 1.3.0.8 so I assume there will be some carryover weird behaviours with all the removed abilities
