In my first message I want to congratulate them on their website and I suggest the CHRONO CROSS, XENOGEARS and FRONT MISSION 3, three of the best games ever (for me) to increase its difficulty.
Regards and sorry for my english

Your English is fine
Chrono Cross and Xenogears are big ones, those would be great to work on
I'm looking at Chrono Trigger too
Do you know what is the state of hacking and tool development for modifying Chrono Cross / Xenogears?
Also if any rebalance mods already exist for those two games?

The mods will be fairly basic, just enemy stat increases to start with. Symphony of the Night shouldn't be a problem. As for Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX, it will be largely dependent upon whether or not the stat data is compressed. My mod of Final Fantasy VIII is considerably more extensive.
Things I've changed in FF8:
The End no longer ignores death immunity.
Meltdown's Vitality 0 hit rate is reduced to 110. This means Meltdown has a base of a 10% chance to cause Vit-0, it's altered based on your magic and the enemies spirit.
Invincibility items have had their probabilities of success reduced. Hero 30%, one character. Hero-Trial 15%, one character. Holy War 20%, all characters. Holy War-Trial 10%, all characters.
All enemies stat curves rewritten.
All enemies AI scripts rewritten.
All enemies in Ultimecia's Castle spawn at a fix level of 100.
All enemies who had a maximum level cap now have a higher fixed level. For instance, Edea 1 had a max level of 20, now she has a fixed level of 30.

My English, I owe to google translator
The Chrono Trigger I inform you that there are already many patches in the network increases the difficulty significantly.
Yes yes, there are tools that have been translated into Spanish the two games (very good by the way). so I know hacking is possible.
These are the websites of the Spanish translations:
http://chronocrosses...o-completada-f4
http://xenogears.romhackhispano.org/
or
http://foro.romhackh...wforum.php?f=28
But I do not know if there rebalance mods for this two games
The Front Mission 3 is being translated into spanish but their website is now unavailable
thanks for replying

Hey Creoyo,
You can download the Chrono Cross mod here http://www.insanedif...index.php/games
As for Chrono Trigger, I know there's already MODs of it already, but we kinda wanted an in-house one (made by ID Members), so we can control quality

Hi.
Of course I downloaded and "tested" the MOD of Chrono Cross, when done with Xenogears want to start a new game of Chrono Cross "Hard Type" .
Luck with the Chrono Trigger MOD.
And a question for LondonRay: can you tell the changes made to the Chrono Cross, the Main features? If there is no re-balance work, only increases the power and protection from enemies? The MOD affects a the New Game + ?
Thanks for the MOD

Is that FF8 mod available for download somewhere?
