I have met 2 people irl that know of our shit. I met the second tonight, we talked about 1.3 a bit then he was talking about RotDS. He seemed amused when I told him that gi is a drunk. It was VERY weird to tell someone irl about our shit and have them be understand.

That's pretty funny. It reminds me of the time that I another forum I used to go on a girl was complaining about something only for me to find out that the complaint was about something that was at my school. It turned out that we actually went to the same college. Now that's freaky.

Any time someone mentions that they used to play FFT, I tell them about FFT 1.3, since it's... just ... better...

I've had an actual dream of meeting someone (someone generic) from my hometown that has played MMX HT and be like "...yeah. That mod from the guy Hart-Hunt. I know the guy. ... It's me". That's a weird and cool dream.

This is a beautiful dream - no bravado or anything just "it would be cool if I was recognized for my work without the person doing so knowing it is me." I'm sure you'll have it come true someday.

Something like that happened to me with a song parody I put on YouTube. It is every bit as cool as you imagine it will be.
