Insane Difficulty: vanishing nagrarok - Insane Difficulty

I made ABSOLUTELY SURE to check everyone's gear after beating the shit out of Dyce. I specifically remember checking Ramza, who had the Nagrarok. IT WAS THERE, I LOOKED AT IT. I don't have maintenance on anyone, I rely on brutality and good looks to make sure he doesn't mess with my precious rares, and I make sure to check to see if I just missed a break move going off.

So then I slog my way through Adramelk, win, save, and then get geared up to recruit Cloud and...
WHERE'S MY GODDAMN NAGRAROK!?!

I have saves on both sides of the fight, so if I must, I can go beat Addy again, but I specifically checked on the first turn after Addy spawns. Nagra is there. 100%. So it vanished sometime between Addy spawning, and me looking over my inventory on the world map afterwards.

Does Adramelk break shit? Does Ramza have butter fingers? Was it stolen by Dycedarg's elder brother who, as we all know, is invisible?

As a matter of fact, Adramelk does have breaking skills. I remember resetting on my latest playthrough because he broke my Rubber Suit. (not irreplaceable exactly, but I hate poaching). So it is possible you overlooked him breaking your stuff. Especially if you press buttons really fast and miss the skill prompts. Also because I suppose it makes more sense to be more cautious about that since there's a bunch of knights before fighting Adramelk, thus your focus came to a stop once you got to Adramelk because of the notion that he doesn't break stuff.

Anyway, yeah. It's what seems to make sense concerning your situation.

He has weapon break. Thing is a dick. That's why I go in as a bunch of monks and punch his shit in for trying to break my shit.

WHAT A TURD! Yeah, I play with the framerate up. Didn't know that chump broke gear. Well then, guess i'll be doing that one over again, slooooowly.
