Well, article for now. This is meant to be a thread linking to useful articles that talk about game design.
Since my thing for now is 2D platformers, I've come across quite a few articles that explain concepts well, but none like this one. Whether you want to design a 2D platformer, or any other game, this will still be a good read, because it decontructs the steps needed to make a good game, from the macro to the micro.
