Great mod, I've played through all the Golden Sun games numerous times. I've really enjoyed this one so far, but I don't understand the slots. I always get 4 mithril shirts there when I'm in Tolbi, but in this mod I can't seem to get any, only running and silk shirts. Are the mithril shirts still in the game. (Sorry, I'd check the armor list, but it isn't updated yet.) Thanks!

Alz To my knowledge it is as i did not remove it from the game so I am not sure what is going on. I need to update the list I apologize I am busy working on FS EX as well as dealing with College and various other things so my time is massively divided.

Okay, it just might have something to do the RNG and my lack of manipulation thereof. The way I tested it was to win the lottery and then create a save state and just repeatedly load it while fast forwarding to see the item I got. It would always switch between the running shirt and the silk shirt, which would make sense if they were both on the same number and thats what the RNG landed on. (according to my understanding of it.) I was getting the same thing with the boots also, I kept getting the quick boots. I guess for the item list, I'll probably just open up the ROM in Atrius' TLA editor and take a peek. (Not that I don't believe you.) Anyway, thanks for your work on these games. They are very high quality. And good luck with college, sorry for distracting you from what really matters, but thanks for the timely response!
Not a worry! I appreciate the feedback if you ever have any suggestions I have begun doing dev rooms for GS1 FS EX on my twitch channel so you can see me edit stuff in real time. You can even give suggestions which i can look to add to the game.

Thanks, I've been working on getting mithril shirts and hyper boots, they do exist, I don't know if you played with anything (I doubt it), but they seem ridiculously more rare. I'm gonna guess it's just the RNG stuff. I'm trying to beat FS right now. I've done everything except for working my way through Crossbone Isle, I'm on the Mercury Spirits and Soul. For some reason it's taking me forever, and I can't find a good strategy that works. My normal style is Granite/Flash while using Kite every turn. I'm not using any extra turn modifying equipment though, which maybe I should do. Great game. I think my only recommendation would be to buff some of the normal Psynergies. All the ones you get from equip items are way better than the traditional ones. Adica, I'd rather use things like Terra Wraith or Legacy than any other Psynergy Isaac has. But ya, thats pretty much that. (Sounds like that might be fixed though with FS EX being that every Psynergy comes from Items.
Again thanks for this great hack, (I'm pretty sure I prefer it over the Original)

I find people have their own style of play with these mods which is something i really kept in mind while working on them. I wanted to make the game much tougher than the original game but add a ton of freedom. The game is really only as hard as one can make it and if you play without doing a lot of grinding you will be just fine. As for the psynergy most of the non-equip psynergy have extra effects. I actually default Ragnarok as my main damage dealer with Isaac as the Damage Output and Psynergy cost are much more managable if you have a tankier set up. On a lot of end game fights Ragnarok can out damage Legacy over time due to it's low PP cost. Especially when you keep in mind that Isaac may have like 180ish PP end game and if you aren't running PP regen gear it can eat through your PP and waste turns due to not having enough PP.
Don't feel too bad about the Mercury Souls/Spirit door on Crossbone Isle that is a huge choking point for many who play the mod as they have very good chemistry going. They really wear you down which makes it tough to keep up with them.

Cool, I beat them! Mystery Blade and Shamans Rod (sure is useful to have more than one turn each.) Also near the beginning of the game, the Shamans Rod gave Ivan 2 attack turns and at some point I switched it out, and Ivan retained them. At some point it went away, I think after I used an inn or changed weapons again or something. Just an FYI

That Shaman's Rod thing may be a bug in the game's code So i have no real way of knowing how to fix it to be honest.
