You need to be over a certain level to fight the Zolom (I think it was Lv.30, and the AI checks a random party member so if everyone isn't over 30 then there's still a chance he'll eject the party). As for Enemy Skill, he no longer teaches Beta but instead has a new but similar one called Alpha (this replaces the Roulette enemy skill). Alpha is a higher-damage Holy-element version of Beta/Aqualung/Trine; to guard against it, I'd recommend equipping Restore + Elemental in your E. Skill carrier's armour. Also, the Zolom can't be poisoned like in vanilla so while it's fightable at lv.30, it'll be tough going to actually beat it at that level.

Cool, Trying to get Aqualung off of Harpy's in the desert, but they aren't using it. Wondering if they still have it, also why does Big guard come with sadness, and is only one person cast now? Thanx!
I couldn't find a Touch Me in Gongaga for Frong Song either...

They don't have it now; they have a replacement 'fake' version called Aqua Rake. You can get Aqualung from the Garuda enemy up on Da Chao in Wutai. Big Guard was move to single-target so it doesn't replace Wall + Haste; to compensate, I added Sadness instead of Haste as 1) it means the barriers will last longer, and 2) Sadness reduces damage down by another 30% (though it cripples Limit gauges).
Touch Me should be in the forests around Gongaga, rather than inside Gongaga; stick to the small forested area around the town on the world map.

I figured, but Auaqalung is another Cheese spell like Beta.
I thought Barrier and MBarrier's timer was based off of ATB timer rather than LB timer? As in haste shortens the time of Barrier and MB. Either way it's fine, I forgot sadness reduced damage, but it makes sense.
Thanx I was looking inside, I'll hit it up otw to FC #5.
Loving the mod so far though...

I didn't say that Sadness/Limit affects barrier gauges; it'll only last longer because Haste is no longer being applied.

It's cool, I wasn't sure if you changed it or not to add the effect. With that being said I'm in ToA and was hoping to get the Ribbon, only to get the Mop. Is that taken out or moved? Also I saw a video of on Youtube of someone using Trine on Materia Keeper. Can't figure out where I missed it, or maybe I'm mistaking. Anyway thanx, hopefully I can figure out a way not to get one shotted on Chest bosses in ToA. Gonna try Back Row, but not having the Ribbon hurts.
P.S. After taking 2.8k damage in the fight for the Nailbat, it's safe to say it's a little OP.

The ribbon is dropped on Disc 3 by a dude.
That pincer fight is probably too much if you're playing on Arrange; back-attack damage is very dangerous in mods that raise enemy strength in any way because it's a straight-up 2x multiplier, and they get the first turn in pincers.
Some info: Ancient Dragons have 3900HP, and take 2x damage from Gravity, Water, Wind, and Fire; you could probably kill them outright with Demi2 or a T/S Bomb. For status ailments, they can be hit with Sleep, Instant Death, Confusion, Mini, and Manip; the problem is going to be surviving the first barrage of hits. Try and Defend ASAP, and go into the battle with protection against Ice to cover Southern Cross. If you can get both of them disabled, with Sleep or Mini for instance, then you'll be able to take care of them from there. If the status ailments aren't landing, then throw in Choco/Mog or Odin instead; they have a 100% chance to land statuses.
Mind that Defend reduces physical damage by 50% and Sadness by another 30% (and Barrier, if you decide to cast this but be better to just try and disable them with statuses) and that these stack with each other. A 2800 damage hit would be reduced down to 1400, then 980 with both Defend and Sadness present.

Anyway, I made it to the Snow Cliffs before I gave up. I really liked the mod, but it started taking up to much time. Being a chef I work a lot of hours, so it is what it is. With that being said, I just wanted to drop in and let you know I appreciated your work. The only issue I came into was parts of the game was a lot different from the original, so it got confusing at times. Even watching boss videos, I would see someone with v1.2 with Trine, but I couldn't find it anywhere(I have the current version). I spend an hour trying to get aqualung before releasing the desert mobs didn't have it. Other than that, I loved the challenge, and with I could of finished. If I have more time down the road I might check it out again, but wanted to thank you for the hardwork and challenge. I had a great time trying to beat the new bosses.

Hey, no prob. The problem is that because Beta, Aqua, and Trine are so strong, I have to either move them or nerf them. I tried nerfing before but they didn't fit very well. What I could do is supply the Main Installer with all the documentation together in future, with lists showing where everything is, changes to it, etc. And I'll definitely be changing that Ancient Dragon pincer fight. Not sure why I kept it like that.
