Up to Hashmalum. This one particular battle... I scouted around 3 times, to see the extent of his behavior and all. Roar (Innocent+Blood Suck humongous AoE) was present in all but the last scout run and the definitive attempt. I noticed he only did it whenever Ramza and Agrias or just one of them was vulnerable to it, so I made both immune, making 4 of my 5 units invulnerable to those statuses, and I assume the AI thought it was not a good idea to attempt a Roar when only one unit was going to be affected by it, even though I would've had no real way to cure it with the setup I was using...

Anyway, fun fight!

Just watched it, absolutely amazing playthrough! Although, I'm kinda sad, since I know there won't be anymore regular videos from you, outside of DD when I get those going...

I'm not all that surprised you found Altima tougher, given your playstyle. That being said, it didn't seem too outrageous for a final boss for this game, since you already beat her... Recent versions buffed her considerably, since she seemed underwhelming to me after the Balk 2 battle. (didn't have the auto haste in the 2nd form, or the ??? morbols in the first form) And while imo it's still easier, it's barely so and no longer underwhelming in comparison to a point where I don't see anyone able to reach it as having trouble there.

Anyway, got a few things I'd like to discuss with you, at your nearest convenience. (balance concerns, dd battles, etc)

So that's why she felt so fast even with 8 speed, I even lost count of how many Speed Saves I triggered. @_@

Altima 1 was fine, but I was not even sure I could beat Altima 2... Speed Save was indeed fearsome.

It probably would have gone a lot faster with either Counter Magic or Counter Flood on the humans, since you seemed to have that thing on lockdown pretty well and the damage it was doing wasn't much of an issue with the amount Moogle/Giga Cure heals for after a few sings. Or as you said, a better Plague. You can get a much better one in Valkries 1 (that fight is pretty tough too, so good luck!). That being said, you made that fight look way easier than it is. My winning fight with it didn't look so smooth...
