Community Speedless Challenge
Decide my playthrough for me! Add challenges to each next battle! Make my life miserable!
The base rules are:
-Banned equipment: Everything that increases speed
-Banned statii: Haste, Slow, Stop
-Banned jobs: Thieves, Ninjas (Steal / Throw as secondaries are fine)
-Banned specials: Marche, Malak, Reis (fast speed growths when they enter)
-Banned reactions: Hamedo, Meatbone Slash
-Banned skills: Meltdown
-Banned cheeses : Death Sentence + Sleep
On top of that, the community (you guys!) will be adding random restrictions for each battle! Random example: Dorter 2: Must have a unit constantly using Wiznaibus for the entire fight.

Cavalry challenge: Must use two or three yellow chocobo units. Chocobos may not act until after they have been mounted and their rider has died. Human units may only deal damage while mounted on chocobos. Physical damage only, no damage-dealing spells. No damage-dealing reaction abilities except Counter.

At the beginning of each chapter, choose a monster family. 3 slots of your party must be filled with the tier 1,2,3 representative of that monster family and the family may not change throughout that chapter. (Individual units may be changed)
Not sure if the Ramza and other slot should have restrictions. I don't know what challenges are feasible in 1.3; all I know is that I have a fixation on monsters!

Generics banned: Mediators and Monks (assuming all abilities in said job are also banned)
No Meatbone.
No Quick.
No stealing.
No Monsters.
Level 99.
No using any loot from boxed units.
Must use a wizard and a non-Ramza squire in every fight.

This is what I want to avoid, adding random rules, to the point where it turns more difficult to remember the list than to play.

How does the above classes, store bought (and post battle rewards) gear only sound?

IE, if you have generics Marisa, Matthew, Luke, and Jessie, you cannot use these 4 generic units the next battle. You must use another set of generics. Of course, you can mix it up each battle, but it essentially means that you have to use all of your units that you start with or hire more.
If you want to add an additional clause, here's 1. You cannot use a previously used unit until at least all of them have been fielded once that are in your party.
So using my first example, you start with 7 units total (Ramza, + 4 Squires and 2 chemist), and the first fight has 5 deployment. That means that if you deployed 5 units in the first battle, all you can use on the next battle is Ramza + the two units you didn't use. Then the third battle, everyone is available to use again. Also, no dumping people unless it's to replace a full party.

I'd in that case just ban a whole class, instead of a single ability. And Meltdown is a lot more OP than Meatbone, because it's easier to use, and it doesn't require low health to work.
I like no stealing / poaching. I'd actually ban thieves for that regard.
Basically, I want the challenge to be easier to visualize both for me and for the viewers. And adding a list of abiliies that are banned isn't gonna cut it. Either I ban wizards, or leave wizards and Meltdown. Same with monks and Meatbone Slash. Same with time mages and Quick.
I don't see the point in constantly having to swap units Augestein. I'd just change the setups for the same purpose, it's literally the same game-play wise. And also, that's actually the easiest way to play, constantly changing your strats. Hell, one of the toughest challenges known is One Build Challenge.
Mimes, I like the idea.
Okay. I have an idea. All specials allowed. But all parties must consist of Ramza + 2 units (specials or not) + a Mime. Monsters not allowed. Thieves are banned. Wizards are banned. Quick is cool, It actually requires a degree of strategy. Since Mimes can't mimick specials' skills, then using a special actually huts your party composition.
What do you think? I also need a name for the challenge!

No shoes or heavy armor on any character ever. Must play with one unit as either Mime, Dancer or Bard in every single battle. Maybe will have to edit in Mime on Ramza in the beginning or something to make it work.

Because, you see, there's four elements for the four units, and Latin America because Hart, and it's a palindrome, because mime....
Too esoteric? Too esoteric.
Alternatively, just name your playthrough "Too esoteric."

The catch? No R/S/M abilities allowed. Only innates for that case.

I think this is the kind of difficulty you should go for (mainly because I enjoy watching you suffer), although Altima 2 is definitely impossible without Move+2/3, if it's even possible to win the Vormav 1v1. Hell, even Gafgarion in chapter 2 sounds like a nightmare. Maybe change it to one R/S/M per battle, and they can only be used once.

Part of it I'd because I like you challenge the usual 1.3 tip of getting those abilities because you can grab active skills via crystals.
Yeah, I'm decided on this.
No R/S/M. No poaching. No stealing. Can't get abilities from crystals. Can't get equipment from boxes (equipment got from boxes will be thrown off recording).
Since I ended up making the rules I'll let you guys make variations if you want anytime now or between vids, ask for variations within the reasonable and I'll include them!
